Just listened to it. McMath was moved from being Chase’s backup to Marshall’s spot and that would put Marshall in the slot.

So I’m guessing it looks something like this

X/boundary: JaMarr/Jontre Kirklin/Alex Adams
F/Slot: Marshall/Boutte/Moore
Z/Outside: Racey McMath/Jaray Jenkins/Trey Palmer

I have a feeling that Boutte may win that third spot and Marshall goes back outside in the fall. It’s really hard to tell though with spring getting scrapped.

Would've thought Palmer to be closer to the front of the line.

Racey needs the 10,000 ball challenge but there is no doubt about his physical attributes. That dude is big and can flat out move. I’m a big fan.

I find it hard to believe that our 2nd most talented WR in 2019 is being surpassed by McMath on the edge.

Might just be putting a big body in the slot. Or maybe none of those slot guys stepped up during the 10 minute spring.

We had Jefferson in the slot a lot last year. All about matchup problems

What makes you think he can do this better than TM?

Nobody is getting passed. You gotta think of it as three different WR positions. Your X is usually your big receiver that always lines up on the LoS. You Z is your Flanker usually off the line of scrimmage on the other boundary. Your F is the slot, usually your best route runner and possession catcher

Jefferson dominated from the outside as a Sophomore too. He is a flat out stud.

It’s amazing how poorly you’ve grasped something so basic

He is

I listened to the OTB interview yesterday and I don't remember MJ ever saying Palmer was at the bottom of the depth chart.

Calm your tits. That was in reference to your second most talented WR comment. Meaning, our 2nd most talented WR can still be in the slot. Not that Jefferson is a "textbook" slot WR anyway with his measurements. He excelled on the outside the previous season as well
