Already knows he can win here.

Has a solid fanbase at LSU and in-state that already supports him.

Relationship with boosters, etc. already built.

IE - The groundwork has already been laid by his previous tenure. All things he would have to start from ground zero elsewhere.

Prove to the AD and administration that he's grown as a man and is up to the challenge of making things right.

Because he already has equity with the fanbase and knows he can win here.

OP asks a question without true intentions, gets actually honest answers, and then proceeds to downvote those answers.

None of this outweighs the reason he likely wouldn't want to come back

That wasn't the exercise presented.

But please list that reason as well for comparison if we're now changing the initial question.

Us Wade lovers know it won't happen. He is destined for a big big big time job. We all know it. The entire nation knows it except the head in the sand doubters.

Wade had no support in Baton Rouge outside of the fans. The boosters didn't want to spend on basketball so the dude paid HIS OWN MONEY for recruits. That is what he was willing to do. He was invested personally in making it work at LSU and guess what? It did.

That is commitment and more reason why we love that bastard. He cared about winning. This program was dead pre Wade (similar to what it is now) and he made a personal commitment to the fans inside the Student Union that we would win fast. This was the case DESPITE the fact that Alleva, boosters, fanbase, state didn't fricking care about supporting men's basketball. Dude is a legend.

Imagine just even 25% more support all around this time.

He’s, not coming back to LSU, why would he want to, other colleges pay better and didn’t fire him for being caught on a FBI wire tap.

How are my intentions untrue? There’s no question Will Wade is a great coach and would be a home run hire for us. McNugget is a stain on the university.

gets actually honest answers,

Like “oh Wade likes it here he knows people here”

You have no idea what Wade likes

“Wade knows he can win here”

You don’t know what Wade thinks.

Wade elevated the lsu program past its historic baseline. He has the highest win% of any lsu coach ever. You don’t think he knows this?

He wants to get paid and he wants to compete for championships. Not go 9-9 in the sec.

And you’re pretending to know what I’m doing. You’re a little sensitive one aren’t you

He also said he topped out what he could do at LSU without some fundamental changes up top.

This is false but I get how you could come to that conclusion. He had a ton of support from a very dedicated core group of big money boosters and wrangled more funds from TAF than any prior basketball coach. Wade coming out of his own pocket for recruits was not exceptional or even somewhat rare. If a kids mom needs her car payment, or the light bill is due, or the family is behind on the mortgage, coaches will directly pay for that from their own accounts all the time. It’s been happening since the dawn of college athletics. You really think Wade paid Naz, Javonte, and Emmitt all that money straight out of his checkbook?

What ultimately will always keep us from being as good at basketball as we should be is the administration. Alleva promised both facility updates and entirely new facilities and Wade got neither, then when Woodward got here he got even less support. Our fricking practice facility had leaks in the roof and an AC system that broke every week. It was a god damn embarrassment and Wade knew it. He was going to leave one day because of it even though Wade didn’t see LSU as a stepping stone. He saw us as a sleeping giant that with the right amount of support could become the top program in the SEC.

The administration doesn't support the program and he knows it. He'll go somewhere that actually does.

I see right through you and you proved my point with your post.

You asked for reasons why Wade would want to come back. I listed possible reasons. Isn't that what you asked in OP?!?
