Justice Hill, Justice Williams, Carlos Stewart, Jalen Cook, Tyrell Ward, Mike Williams, even Dji, Givens and V Miller this year …

Can’t get along? Grades? Weed? Mysterious benchings? Transfer in / transfer out? Can’t shoot? Quit the team ….. it’s a pattern! I’m sure I’ve missed some.

It’s going to be a new team AGAIN! No one is building anything …. Starting over again … let somebody competent do it please.

His only plus is that he is a good recruiter so far.

I don’t see how they can bring him back .

How much money are you saving by giving him one more year ?

It is like giving a homeless person a mansion to take care of after the 2000 square foot home you gave him brand new two years ago has feces and rodents all over.

Let's entrust him with a larger space. He will definitely lose the homeless mentality then.

We are literally throwing away money only for Scott to gaslight us and then hire another shitty mid major coach next go around or some has been.

LSU has to keep V and R Miller as both are young and I think can be developed into solid SEC players.
Ward has shown flashes of that ability level.
How much NIL money would LSU need to get LSU to a NCAA level qualifying team year in and year out...with or without MM?

The current team with the current roster is absolutely hot garbage dumpster fire. They suck golf balls through straws; why would you want any of them back?

If he comes back another year, I think he should do what BK did and put 1 million dollars of his yearly salary into the NBB NIL fund.
He hasn't earned 1/2 of what he has been paid, and his only chance to stay with LSU is to produce and that 1 million dollars buying a player or two, could get him an extention. Long shot but he has to do more to make this team a winner.

This is what it boils down to. Administration thinks we’ll save more by keeping him & investing more in NIL than buying him out, hiring new coaches AND investing more in NIL (an argument for another thread. I’m sure some fans think we’ll hire a new coach & turn it around in 1 year like the 3 examples they give without mentioning the other 50 schools that hired a new coach & didn’t 180 their program in a year, but SW & Co disagree). It has little to do with his sub par coaching abilities. But speaking of coaching abilities, it seems they’re not ready to give up on him & attribute some of his failures to the NIL situation. They think he may do better with more money (another argument for another thread)

He’s coming back because our fat AD can’t handle the pressure of having to hire a new coach when Will Wade is still at McNeese

Before we even get to base line suckage, MM has to find the next guy he has a relationship with/Louisiana kid that wants to come play for LSU as a senior and be the leading scorer. He's done a fine job of this so far -

KJ Williams
Jordan Wright
Cam Carter

Think of how bad it would be if these guys weren't available to come play for LSU for their senior season. Can he do it again with as much success as the 3 guys above? Questionable.

That's just to reach current status of being one of the worst teams in the league.

I saw something a while back saying his first year was year zero bc of the "situation" but with that being the case I think they give him a 4th year of what they are considering a 3rd year to fix this. Not that I see him making that great of an improvement.

I think some of this there is no in depth coverage of LSU men's basketball - no one is asking the questions and no one seems to be all that concerned that no one is asking questions. So you have all of this mysterious stuff going on and it's never really clear as to the who's and why's and when's.

But a lot of this stuff we don't know what's going on because no one asks or no one digs or no one tries to find out and CMM ain't gonna answer questions that never get asked. I'm sure he'd rather some things be ignored.
