Bowl doesn’t matter and out of respect for Frank who has been with him before he will be able to assist with game planning and give ideas but be able to sit back and evaluate roster better without being in complete control plus allows him to finalize staff and other changes he wants to make within the program. Also allows him and his guys to possibly start looking at portal options and needs behind the scene to really focus on who they want. Really think he is licking his chops feeling like he is about to blow this portal up with the money they are giving him. He fully expects to be competitive year one. You could tell by the look on his face when talking about how he knows how many kids wanted to come to Ole Miss to play in their system and look at how much more he has to offer now between facilities and brand and money to spend. Don’t think you will hear him talk about patience and year 3-4. He really feels like what LSU offers with his offensive system and coaching he can be competitive with anyone right away. We shall see. I get a sense he feels like he can revive this sleeping giant of a program quicker than we may think.
