Was it more that Henne just had a terrible game or that App St. pressured him and had great coverage?

Does App St. have any defensive players that are of special concern?

I think Michigan's D played like shite also.

a premier CFB team letting a Div-1AA team ring up 30+ points?

Their D wasn't at all what it should have been but if you just look at the stats, they don't really tell the story. I had been thinking that the App. St. QB had an enourmous game but stat wise it wasn't anything special. I need to watch that game again.

I would also like to see the App. St. "Hot,Hot,Hot" video remade for another school.

The shocking thing to me as an App fan was that we were able to run the ball against UM. Of course everyone has seen the quick strike to Dexter, which was huge. Two blocked field goals was huge as well. Hard to believe we could pull that off against the Wolverines. At the end of the day, if Hart had not gotten hurt in the first half and had to sit out half the game, it would have been a different outcome, as we had a hard time stopping him. You guys have much more size, speed, and depth at RB than UM, which will be a problem for us. Don't be shocked if we score two to three times against you guys. I look for AE to be a game manager in this one. He'll take what's there, and distribute the ball to his other playmakers. Not saying it will be a shootout - LSU 42 App St 17

I will not be surprised if this game is very close in the first half. Double A's assessment is dead on, in my opinion. LSU is a strong 2nd half team, and A. Edwards should present some problems for us. In the end though, LSU has more depth and is much better at this point than Michigan was.

Henne, Hart & Co. were overlooking them and thinking about finally beating OSU so they didn't go 0-4 against them in their careers.....duh...

I watched the video and I don't get it. Henne sucks because his receiver's drop balls and his offensive line sucked?

App State secondary was their strongest point on defense. It seems throughout the game App State was in Man coverage allowing their LBs to blitz alot more. I thought Henne was ok, just Michigan's overall team speed costed them the game BIGTIME.

Hey how is Jordan Jefferson coming along. I like his style of play, hope he makes the LSU faithful proud

Chad Henne is actually what JR is stereotyped as.

HE has no awareness and doesn't make reads all that well. He isn't mobile. His only redeeming quality is his arm.

Plus if things didn't go his way he would have a huge meltdown and suck dicks for the rest of the game.

He is playing as well or better in pre-season as any of the young quarterbacks that I have seen. I don't know how that relates to play once the season starts.
Your're right though, he was inconsistent in college.

Couldn't have happened to better people (especially Hart).

Thank goodness most of the Big XI sucks a dick at CB or else Mario Manningham wouldn't have been so great on that route.
