It's going to be a brutal, head-on collision by two fully loaded, 18 wheelers. Could tie up the interstate for hours.
Playing at 2:30 is part of the price you pay when you have one of the top programs in the conference. I guess we could go back to the 90's, enjoy subpar seasons, and play at 11:30 on Raycom or at night without television.

The price of success, right? Win big, and network TV loves you. A piss poor season, and you can bet your sweet arse you'll get few, if any nationally televised games. It sux that TV dictates kick-off times, but hey, it comes with the territory.
we have top 5 talent and haven't looked like a top 25 team all year. it's hard

You guys deserve credit for not giving up and playing to the end. Afterall, you put 38 on the Dawgs. It seemed like a couple of heavy weights trading haymakers. If it weren't for two pick 6 returns, you're tied and maybe looking at OT.
Never really found myself to impressed with C Alexander or Bert Jones

Did you watch Bert Jones at LSU and later in the NFL? I don't care who you pull for, Bert was one hell of a QB.

Hate to say it..Ole Miss looked pretty good..still alot of work

Yes they did. The Wake - Ole Miss game was a good game to watch, and Ole Miss nearly pulled it out on the late TD. Their QB looked pretty decent, they have some big 'ol boys up front, and they are well coached. Don't take Ole Miss lightly, they may surprise some folks.
You can never count out Darth Visor, and Columbia is a tough place to play.

Maybe so, but at this point, it looks like a cakewalk for the Tigers.
USC's offense has proven to be a bit inept, with turnovers, sacks, mediocre QB play, and just one RB threat. LSU should blow them out, unless Spurrier is able to work some magic and get the offense on track. I'm not so sure he has enough horses at the skill positions.

Kinda makes sense that the atmosphere would be lame

I blame it on "shrinkage"
Appy St. would've beaten Clemson

Highly doubt it, but one can hope!
I think a total of one player on their defense would start for us and two on their offense.

The real question is can LSU top Clempson and run the ball against Bama's D? And can LSU's D line man up with the Behemoth's on Bama's O line? Should be a classic, can't wait!

Auburn is not running the spread-option

I stand corrected. In that case, they should have the new offense down within the next week or two.
Could Bama lose to two Louisiana teams again this year?

Don't count on it. As Keith Jackson would say, this one will be a "Humbdinger". Can't wait, should be an SEC classic, with plenty of hitting!

Hopefully they are this inept when they play us

Don't worry, it'll take Auburn at least a year to become proficient with the spread-option. Same for the Wolverines. As they have already shown, it may be ugly before it gets better.
That was ugly (for the Apps)! LSU's speed, size, talent, etc were a huge problem for us today, no question. You guys are on a totally different level. Disappointing showing for the Mountaineers, but not altogether surprising. Looks like we have a lot of work to do. I thought Hatch looked good today. Poised, confident, good decision making. He just might be your guy. We your offensive line, stable of running backs, stout defense, and team speed, you guys are going to be tough to beat. Best of luck for the remainder of the season.
If they do it this year, will that be a bigger upset than at Michigan last year?

No offense to LSU, you guys have a great program, but not quite the mystique of Michigan. Right or wrong, IMO, I think we get more recognition for beating #5 ranked UM in the Big House. However, it will take more to beat LSU, as we can't compete with your size, speed, talent, etc. Bottom line, LSU wins. The $64 question is, will LSU win in a blow out or will App keep it respectable?.

Why does the SEC not play men's soccer? I realize USC plays, but they have to play in another conference for soccer.
and still couldn't get a FBS school to look at him... at QB.

Just to be clear, Armanti plays for the D1 National Champs. If you guys ever decide to institute a playoff system in the FBS, then you will get to claim the football Division 1 National Championship. In the meantime, we get the trophy and you guys get to win the beauty contest, providing you have enough votes.

Do you realize that our top 3 running backs do not have 6 fumbles in their career...combined

On how many carries?
Appy St. gets a late touchdown on the golden girls who take over in the 4th quarter

Given disparities in talent, athletic budgets, and home field advantage, LSU should win easily, no contest. Something like 55-0. Anything less, and you should be asking questions.
Re-watching the Mich v App St. game today made me realize even more that App St. has no chance to withstand LSU's sheer physical force. App St. was absolutely worn down by the start of the 4th quarter against a poor performing Michigan side. Imagine going up against a bigger and stronger team in LSU?

Great point! Why not just go with your scout team and make a game of it? In fact, you might go ahead and start preparing for Troy St. and N. Texas and chalk up the openner as a W.
Boone-docks....

Damn straight, and that's just the way we like it.
