90% of that is rational questioning of what has been seen so far and is characterized as hate. Of course there are idiots that are going to say he can't win and call him names. The same goes for the small percentage of people that think he can do wrong and blame everything under the sun besides him.

That’s your excuse? Coaches should be beating down the door?
How about a competent AD go out and throw a reasonable amount of money at their guy?

I don’t get it. Give the man a chance.
You're dealing with spoiled babies. I understand that he wasn't a popular choice but the level of vitriol towards him is beyond comprehension.
Les Miles wasn't a popular choice either. While his quirky behavior may have endeared him to some he was always an odd cat. He wasted an incredible amount of talent in 2006, backed into a NC in '07 and was not really a brilliant strategist in any facet.
Orgeron was a questionable choice at best but I understand that there weren't many great alternatives out there at the time. Fedora, Fuentes and Fleck would have been huge gambles although they would have placated a fanbase that wanted a fresh beginning.
Regardless, if Ensminger's offense is productive and fun to watch and O hauls in a monster class, the future will be a little brighter. If not then O deserves whatever heat he feels and the inevitable outcome.

It is not hate to think the man simply is not up to the job.
I honestly don't have the energy to "hate" him. Hate requires effort.
But...I DO really dislike him, and have since LONG before he ever put on an LSU coaches polo. there was a time, not that long ago, that most other LSU fans disliked him as well, and for good reasons. I disliked him so much that I was actually pissed at Miles for hiring his arse as a DL coach, because I was afraid of the baggage that arse clown was going to bring with him.
When he was named interim I got scared of the possibility of him eventually being named HC...but honestly, what were the chances of LSU really doing that???

I want all you O haters to tell me who you wanted for the job.

They seem to pay more attention to starting threads vs. just posting in them. Both of my bans came from threads that I started.
Then I stand corrected, as I don't think I've ever once started a thread on here about Orgeron ever.

Objective facts are not hate. Please, give us an example of this "hate" that is not routed in fact?
May the tomatoes in the gumbo joke that went around a few months ago....
Other than that, you can't give an example because there isn't one. Every single post that is, by your definition, hating on O is nothing more than stating facts. If there is an example otherwise, please do tell.

if we're going to start naming coaches that were more qualified, its going to be a long list

There was a time where this board would openly talk about not letting that guy near our program. Now we’re told to embrace him.
I didn’t like him 10 years ago. He was a back up plan hire. We deserve better than that.
Although, I can’t root against him, because that would mean rooting against my team.
I just pray he’s successful.

Irrelevant.
Who we wanted has nothing to do with Orgerons record as h as coach.

My gosh...is it even worth my effort to refute nearly every single point here, or will it just be ignored?
I ask this because every one of these talking points has been proffered and argued against for nearly a year, and yet they still keep getting posted as if they are winning arguments.

Wanted? Why does it matter. However, I would have preferred literally dozens of others than O.

Les Miles got ran off the field IN Tiger Stadium by MSU just a few years ago by a QB that he recruited to be a fricking FB.

The guy was the butt of every joke just not even 5 years ago. But... he's ONE OF US GIVE HIM A CHANCE HATERS

Put all other D1 head coaches' names on a dart board. Throw a dart. There's an answer.

So...you want people to answer this question for what...the 100th time?

Sure...that seems like a worthwhile use of one's time.
