That's not the discussion, but thanks for the reply
This thread is about hiring Coach O back at LSU. Nobody gives a frick about your side discussion of who deserves credit for 2019.

I mean Coach O was responsible for bringing in one of the BEST QB in the history of LSU . Jos cool said as much while accepting the heisman trophy , So I would say yes he would help and be an asset in recruiting .

Weird since multiple posters are engaged in that discussion.

I'll tell them the same thing. Nobody gives a frick about who gets credit for 2019. It's irrelevant to Coach O coming back to LSU.

Maybe but his payments were enough he doesn’t need money.
He married his blonde big tit bimbo Brandy to help him spend what's left of his half.of the money.
Wonder how much he's blown through?

How? Explain in detail, please. Bc the bad hires is what did him in

I’m not really in favor of bringing O back because I don’t think he will be a good influence on a “reformed” Lane Kiffin. I think he could potentially re-introduce bad habits.

Perhaps no one gives a frick what you don't give a frick about.

I personally would rather him not be in any capacity with LSU. The only credit I give him, is listening to advice about Burrow and Brady, then realizing he needed to stay out of the way and let the real coaches and the players do their thing to win a championship.

Really? Wow
O tried to pick up on someone's wife at a gas pump.
Don't remember if she was married to BOS but it wasn't someone of little importance to LSU.

who’s to say O hasn’t?
Recent videos of him tearing his shirt off and dancing on tables at wedding receptions would seem to indicate otherwise.
No to O.

What reasons did he mention? That he chased arse? Who hasnt or doesn't? Did he slip and make bad hires and then covid hit. You cant tell me he did anything to hurt the program outright. Is he head coach material? Hell No! Thats on whomever hired him! Hes immature just like Lane Kiffen is. Kiffen got a retread in the Saban rehab program and made him like the rest of the problem children hireable again. Add him to the long list.
He even got kicked out of the program at Bama bc of this. I think the being let go by saban was the biggest eye opener for him and his cocky arse ego!! Coach O is a position coach and thats it. Not a DC or anything other than a DL coach and recruiter. He personality and understanding of the culture in la makes him who he is

It's insane that all these idiots want him back.
So you don’t want anyone on staff that has an iffy track record and questionable morals? Oof, you might want to take a break from LSU football for the next 7 years then..
No I don't want someone who already quit on lsu and laughed about it on the way out.
And someone who is only looking for a job now that the payments are about to run out.
It's funny you are talking shite about kiffin since you were all over this board saying he wasn't coming.

Why the for Coach “O” aka ZERO
---why the what?

Solid point. Could also miss being apart of something.
End of the day Idc whether he comes back or not. I trust Lane to make the best decisions in regards to the program.

what you are essentially saying is that Kelly was the better coach who took O’s players and went to an SEC championship game
No, I am in fact saying that O did not "ruin" the program. That's all.
Posted on 12/2/25 at 8:53 am to SOCAL TIGER
Don’t forget he covered up all the sexual abuse by his players and laughed it off. O should never be allowed back coaching

But I do understand your points and am torn as a whole, because he simply gave up after 2019 and it fricked us.
O back as head coach? Never in a million years
O back doing what he his best at, under a guy who he loves, without the responsibility of running the whole program? I'll take it.
We forget that these guys are human like the rest of us. It was apparent that O's marriage was falling apart after 2019, and we saw how messy it got. Couple that with Covid, and I think O's personal life went off the rails and it might have affected his job performance.
Enough time has passed. Bring him back if Lane sees fit.
