I left halfway through the third quarter. I had my 4 year old daughter with me by myself, and she had already eaten her dip n dots, cotton candy, hamburger, popcorn and was getting grumpy. But i stayed longer than most of the frat boys, and me and my daughter were the only two in our section yelling on defense. shame

Halftime strikes me as silly, but I left a bit after the beginning of the 4th quarter during one of the many five minute TV timeouts. The length of those damned things bother me a lot more than people leaving early.

It's a damn shame. The Greek section empties out by halftime in almost every game. It's mostly the sorostitutes that don't want to stick around and so the guys who think they have a chance getting some from the girls leave too. Or they are sobering up and want to leave to drink more.
I stayed until the end every time when I was in the Greek section and you could usually spot me from a distance in games like North Texas and Washington because I was one of the very few left.

This exactly. For them, its more about theatrics for them. Just show up in your wayfarers, do some chants, and go to bogies to get laid.

Yes. I was in the band though.
I could care less what people do. I'm there to the very end and that's all that matters. Plus better seats open up. I always stay long enough to sing the Alma Mater.

Greek section tickets need to be sold to others. Seats are in a section where I would love to sit and these people never stay and barely make it for kickoff

Not that the Greeks are good about it, but the whole student section, and the season ticket chairbacks all emptied at the same rate yesterday. The Upper decks were never full at any point in the game.
I know Washington sucks, but I was a little surprised about the lack of excitement in BR in general for a BCS conference team coming to town.
Greeks are some of the biggest CFB and LSU fans on campus, and saying otherwise is just silly. I love CFB, and when we're beating someone's brains in, i'm likely to leave a little early so that I can watch the end of the other primetime games. Sue me.
Also the "greek" section also includes all of the reserved seats for the professional schools and their attendance in general is pathetic and makes that area look worse as well.

Sorry we have to actually study and can't waste a whole day going to the LSU game. Trust me, we would love to be there instead of wasting away studying. For the first game, the med school was allotted 54 tickets to split between the 4 classes. We are definitely the reason the student section looks empty .
