Why not put Milan batting 2nd now

since it looks like he's turned the corner? I never understood a HR hitter - (in other words, a Strikeout king) batting 2nd.
When I played the 2nd batter was the one that could bunt and/or make good contact. I know other teams do the same thing, but it is at that time to try something different with Jones.
I never thought I would say this but, the it seems the only reason he is starting is because of his defense.

With our leadoff guy tearing it up now this would make sense
Switch hitter batting second, and put the automatic pop up/K in the 8 slot and the other auto out at 8 batting 9. Would move the 9 hole guy to third or fourth as well since he seems to be able to hit good pitching.

I’d be ok with That.
I trust whatever Jay decides at the end of the day, but I’d absolutely move Jones to 5 at this point, and I like the idea of Milam at 2

I would drop the cub as of recent to 5 and those ahead up one slot

I trust Dickinson to execute more offense from 2nd in lineup. I think Milam is good around 5th in lineup.

I feel like we still need to protect on either side of Jones so I have him 5th instead of 6th. I have Braswell 7th because I think a bunt in that spot to setup Hernandez for an RBI is more beneficial than setting up Stanfield.
