It’s a simple answer but you can complicate the situation if you pinch-hit for your DH burn him .

There is no excuse for Drost not to get the bat today.

Edit: they both have some terrible stats this year. Drost has more strikeouts in half the at bats. Gio being hurt has their arse in a crack.

It’s called a “pinch hit”. No such thing as a “pitch hit”.
