Bcuz Manieri NEVER bunts. Every good baseball coach calls for a sac bunt with 2 on and 0 out. Its absolutely fundamental which we suck at.

You wanted him to bunt Dugas your 3 hole hitter and leading RBI guy on the team? And then they could pitch around Doughty your 4 hole hitter with a base open. Not exactly the type of trip through the heart of my order I want to take.

Agree with you. I wanted Dugas swinging. But some on here call it “asinine” or say “every SEC coach would have bunted”. These people do not watch much SEC baseball.

Especially if they paid attention to the bottom of the 9th when ole miss didnt bunt. And they werent to the middle of their order. They were at the bottom
