I was thinking the same thing at the time. Maybe the players were so confident that they’d win, they didn’t feel their need?

The cigar celebrations that will live forever through photo and video , are on another level than mediocre Gatorade bath. Also fwiw, lsu is a Powerade school.

Divinity and Chaisson could’ve always just liberated the Gatorade from the Clemson sideline.

With as soft and easily triggered as their fanbase is, an Alpha move like that would make their heads explode.

Great question.

My theory is that we ended that tradition after the A&M upset loss in 2018 when the team prematurely soaked Coach O.

Bad karma never to be repeated.

The same reason we didn't rush the field or tear down the goal posts, it was expected this time and this year.
