and he doesnt even lead his own team in carries.

Hill has more carries this season than Magee and Hilliard combined, 155 carries vs. 72 & 67.

eta: and Hill had the most carries Saturday vs. TAM with 14. Magee and Blue had 13. Hilliard had 8.

Gray Danielson beat that point like a drum on Saturday.

did he? I don't know because I wasn't really listening to the game.

But it was obvious watching the Bama game, which was frustrating, because Hill stating specfically before the game that he was not going to bounce all his runs this year

What do you mean?

Hill has 155 attempts on the year - the closest to him is Magee with 72, followed by Hilliard at 67, and Blue with 62.

Hill is 6th in the SEC in attempts, 3rd in yards, tied for the league lead in average, and 2nd in rushing TD's.

LSU also has other great backs that need to get runs and who will also be around next year.

It's funny because 6 weeks ago people were comparing Hill to Faulk, Toefield and Davis.

I really had nothing to contribute to the thread.

However, he kept talking about seemingly every time Hill was in the game.

He lead the team in carries Sat.

When the other RBs are running well, its kind of an addition by subtraction effect.

Rummy, we all know if Hill had carried the ball 30 times Saturday there would be threads today complaining about Magee and Hilliard not getting enough carries......

And while that was never really complained about on here before the Aggie game, it will suddenly start to be mentioned frequently by the posters as a well known Hill problem.

Brisket, Pet Players, Fumbling in Practice, Keiland treatment, etc., etc. Isn't it perfectly clear?

I agree we didnt see much of him in 2nd half (if at all). I just think Magee had the hot hand then lead was so large we gave Blue some work. In general, I think Hill has been featured way more than any other back in the Miles era. (seemingly in my mind at least)
