Excellent analogy. It’s like the O sycophants are all from the participation trophy generation. Don’t criticize. Yay 9 wins! That’s Ok about Troy and ND. You’re still awesome!

Set back lsu longer, make us look unstable and give more sec teams inroads to recruiting our state.. Just part of the reason we didn't want him to f this up

So stupid. Poor coaching hires are fine, but powerless fans will hurt the program.

Is it bad to put the pressure on the admin to fire O now?

You need a mental health checkup. That ain’t gonna happen!
LSU is choking down 15+ million in buy outs.

not really there is a point where it gets old...I get it O is the worst coach ever and in your opinion will ruin the program. What does repeating this a 100x a day do? make you feel better?

Because this was never true. It's just a false Narrative created by the head coach sycophants who want to divert attention away from discussions which focus on real problems.

Nick Saban is never happy and that is the competitive nature that makes him great. What is the driving force of success... "Never settle and never be satisfied with the current state." The greatest of greats work to get better every day, but LSU has taken a different path. A path that is laced with giving repeat chances to failed experiments and consistently lowering expectations. Until LSU decides that they want to be dedicated to winning, we will continue to hope that our reject coach association has learned from their mistakes.

Finished LSU in the 70s been going to games since I was 4 yrs old. I’ve seen more than you can imagine. Football is a rollercoaster. You learn to recognize patterns after a while.
It is what it is.

The anti O crowd isn’t the reincarnation of Saban. Saban is a very unique individual in a very unique environment. He is way more than you describe it’s much more complex than wanting to win.

how many of those dips at LSU were self inflicted though?

it's hard enough to win when you're doing everything right.

I want LSU to win every game in 2018. I'll just watch on television. It a 7 hour drive from my door to BR. I think I'll just save that money on bigger truck nuts.

Nick Saban utilizes a mentality that LSU should adopt. It really isn't a big secret like you suggest. Don't lower expectations, don't make excuses, don't take moral victories, and put winning as a priority. Making excuses and lowering the bar is not moving in the right direction. Hiring past failures is also not moving the program in the right direction. Neither Orgeron or Ensminger did enough to truly deserve their current positions and LSU will not improve because of it. Obviously you will continue to make excuses, but I just hope that the real decision makers will see the light before too long. This is why it is hard to be happy with LSU at this time. Unfortunately, Alleva and Orgeron will not be fired for at least two more years.
