Yet another reporter piling on the USA report and claiming CEO should be fired for “Baylor-esque” institutional rot. LINK

Football has a dark side just like politics. If Michigan all of a sudden beat Ohio State, I guarantee you things would start to surface. It's just funny that all of a sudden these series of distractions and "scandals" seemed to have surfaced post national championship and elite recruiting. Think it was a coincidence Hillary Clinton's email investigation surfaced months before the 2016 election? If you dont think other programs are using all these problems as leverage then youre in denial.

Edit: And yes we are a threat to Bama. We beat them last year, we have an excellent 2021 class that could get better, and the steam is rolling heavy for the 2022 class. We were and are disrupting Bama's slate into the playoffs every year like they have been even though our record is awful this year. It's not about one game this season, it's about the direction they see us going.

So many games are being canceled they have nothing to write about. So, this is their play.

I mean yeah that has something to do with it but I wouldnt count out the possibility that other rivals want to do anything they possibly can to prevent us from being on top. I wouldnt put it past Lane Kiffen either.

the article literally, openly, tells you who gave them this story. it is the victims. if you are that paranoid to think that alabama or someone else would go and get these people to lie or force them to give their story then you need to go offline for a little bit because that's insane.

also, who the hell needs to do something like this to LSU? This is the worst LSU team in 2 decades I think opposing coaches are just fine without this story.

I'm positive they'll use it in recruiting. I'm also positive nobody at Alabama went to USA Today and is guiding them into what to look for. If you want to blame anybody, beyond all of LSU's failings here, blame Guice's dipshittery in Washington for being the spark.

Perhaps, it would have smarter to go to the police rather than fricking USA Today.
Edit: and Yahoo Sports

Paranoid? No. Presenting a possible influence? Yes.

I also never said nor implied anyone was being forced or influenced to lie and make up a story. One of the first reaction articles I read about the firing of O was from a Bama sports writer.

So I read the article and it seems like this isn't on LSU football
Why should it be the football teams and coach O's obligation to launch their own investigation? If it was reported to authorities and nothing came of it, then what do they expect LSU to do? From what I read, when it was actually brought to their attention, they suspended their players. Am I reading this wrong?

They had fun at the White House, and O didn't complain about the president.
