It's awesome to see guys just post shite about Cam being some big "air it out" guy that Les is holding back. Obviously they haven't looked into what his problems were at the Ravens and one of the reasons he was let go.

LSU head coach Les Miles went off the record with local media for the opening portion of his Monday press conference, and while the head man wasn't prepared to go on the record with his thoughts, what the local media learned was that Miles will not be the next head coach at Michigan.

I don't even know what point you are attempting to make. If you are talking about me specifically, you would be wrong. I played through HS and have volunteered my time as a coach for 6 years ( 2 Flag FB & 4 Youth League). While that doesn't give me anything close to the credentials of anyone on the LSU staff, I've invested the time in studying the game. Both as a player and as a coach.
I'm not sure if you are stating that "people" in general or as in LSU's fan base have a basic misunderstanding of football. I think that LSU's fan base is on par with most when it comes to football IQ. I don't think that anyone thinks that Cam has a " fling it around the yard" offense. I've never even seen any rational LSU fan asking for an unbalanced "pass first" offense.
What we saw this year was a coaching staff that failed to develop either of the 2 QB's who were both here since the beginning of spring practice. That's really not acceptable for top level recruits and the "highest paid" coaching staff in the land. That's the bottom line.

Nor do you think he has a power running approach, or whatever you meant by helmet cracking or whatever it was you said

I'm not mad...just disappointed. When a team puts 9 players in the box, it exposes other areas of the playing field. How often are you surprised by our play calling? Les seems to view a stacked box as a challenge and will continue to run b/w the tackles. I say "Les" because I have a hard time believing that Cam can't scheme against a team that is daring us to throw the ball.
Maybe I'm wrong and what we saw this year is actually all that our QB's were capable of.

These words could have very well been uttered by Nebraska's AD when he fired Bo Pelini

I think you nailed it.

Do you want your kid to pack his bags and leave for another family? Do you call him an idiot?

Who is happy with this season?
You may be rt, ticket sales only increased this year. Doesn't mean everyone is happy.
Also they started having multiple bowls games in n the 30s. So are you talking about that generation of everyone gets a trophy?

Pretty much this. You will see what happens when Ohio State puts a 3rd string QB in against a top tier team. That's what we play in almost every SEC West game.
Also our WRs are young too. Next year will be way better. shite the bowl game will be way better

Which ones, and what are their teams' records vs Miles?
I won't speak for others on this, but I'm sure there are Alabama people who like the current arrangement. Miles is 3-6 vs. Saban, with a 4-game losing streak. Alabama is able to sign top players out of Louisiana regularly.
Miles has a 21-13 record vs. current SEC coaches. If Mullen leaves Mississippi St., that record will be 16-12 going into next season.

As long as we are cherry picking statistics, Miles is 34-3 in regulation during the regular season when he has a Sr QB

Mett was a senior and lost 3 games in the regular season. Your stat is incorrect.

Again, UGA, Alabama and Ole Miss in 2013. That's three.

No cherry picking. I was responding to a specific question about current SEC teams.

OMG you guys you're right 34-3 sinks the entire argument about cherry picking stats. Also note other marquee SEC coaches shile starting a freshman or true sophmore QB:
Saban: 0-0
Spurrier: 30-21
Miles: 16-9
Meyer: 9-4
Saban: 0-0
Spurrier: 30-21
Miles: 16-9
Meyer: 9-4

This speaks for itself, what is there to clarify - Thanks for putting this together

And what does it clarify? Auburn has an SEC and NC appearance during that time, yet they are at the bottom of the SEC based on those numbers. What do UGA and Missouri have to show for their prowess (they're the only 2 with better SEC records than LSU other than Bama).
So all it does is show that Bama has been heads and shoulders above all other SEC programs in that time span ... did that really need to be clarified? With the exception of a brief timespan after Stallings left, that's pretty much been the history of the SEC in a nutshell.
