For the second season in a row, we take the ball into the red zone on the opening drive and come away with nothing. Last year it would have given us a lead and that’s about it but this year, it would have won the game. Had you kicked a FG there, you could have forced FSU to burn time outs at the end and kicked a game winning FG instead of a game tying FG. Idk how CBK think this is players fault?

It’s not NOT their fault. They should’ve executed. An OL as highly touted as ours should’ve eaten their lunch on 3rd and 1.

But it’s not only their fault. They certainly contributed to the problem but BK knows it’s on him mostly.

Also people are talking about that idk what you’ve been reading.

I agree it was a bad decision

they were being very aggressive which I liked

but then they went totally conservative in the 4th

LSU must think we have Derrick Henry back there in the backfeild to take over games

we don't

There are so many things to nitpick but the offensive play calling was horrible and by far the main reason we didn't dominate that game. I won't criticize the defense, they played infinitely better than I expected. Nuss played very well and the rest of the offense is obviously very talented. USC is not a great team, they are not a playoff team, and I don't think Riley is a great coach. We are better than USC in almost every aspect and could've beat them by 20. Sloan and Kelly shite the bed imo.

Why is no one talking about Sloan not even being able to get plays in on time

It's why he can't get over the hump. Assuming all things being equal, had he locked the 1st FG, we up 20-13 and the offensive play book is wide open at the 8 minute mark of the 4th quarter.

Boneheaded coaching move by CBK. He's got to stop shooting himself in the foot with these games.

So it’s 100% chance they make the FG? What if USC blocks if and return for TD? You would be on here complaining about going for FG instead of touchdown. It was 1st quarter and good decision, USC was backed up inside their own 5 yard line on their first possession of season, Bad things could have happened for them.

They are great at pass blocking that is a fact....but our great head coach decided to go at the other teams strength with our weakness with the run game.....never forget Les Miles saying he wants to go at the opposing team's strength....lol...most teams try to attack the team's weakness.

bs...you take the points....I was yelling at the TV asking wth he was doing. It is not like we have a great running game, and it can be very difficult to throw a pass that close with so many in tight....you take the points and the lead there.......it was stupid...if on the 1 yard line...maybe...but not on the 3 yard line.

Unless you are behind take the points....always take the points. You can afford to be conventional at the begi, beginning,, it's smart

the fk it is. We threw the ball 10 times less in the second half, despite 2 more possessions than we had in the first half. Became predictable and threw the entire offense off its game...instead of passing on first and second downs, BK decided we were going to run it down their throat, which the middle d was their strength. You are nuts if you don't see this.

We haven't had one since Guice. CEH was good because our passing attack was elite. We haven't had 1 real back since CEH. Long are the days of Guice, Fournette, Hill
