Why has it always been OK for "positigers" to hate Crowton?

He arrived in 2007 and got straight down to winning a national title. And just this past season, LSU went 11-2. With numbers like those, why would you ever fire him?

Offense in 2009: 110th

Questions?

I know, incomprehensible.

The offense was such a well-oiled machine.

Offensive stats the last couple years. Its
"OK" when you have stats on your side. Plus, the trending histories of his last jobs.

and most hate Trent Johnson, too. They resent that he is given more slack than Miles. For the Positigers, everything goes back to their adulation for Miles.

They aren't really Positigers, they are really PosiMiles.

He was able to put up more points against Auburn than the Great Mr Kelly at Oregon. If they were in the SEC they would not even be close to scoring all those points. Anyone who thinks GC was a bad coach is a Meauxron.

He was an easy scapegoat for Miles just like Mal-Veto was.

Oregon scored 19 points, LSU scored 17. Not a huge difference at all, just thought I'd point it out.

Yeah. I see an upward trend an an 11-2 finish. As mentioned, he isn't the one who recruits the QB's.

He develops them though and you can't honestly say you have seen progress from either one.

the term positigers and negatigers has been buried (by mutual agreement). surely, you aren't seriously comparing miles hatred vs crowton hatred. crowton was in charge of an offense that was the worst in the SEC for 2 yrs in a row. case closed.

Cause the term positiger is nothing more than being pro Miles to a fault. The best way to keep Miles from being responsible for the offense (even though he is the head coach) is to make Crowton the scapegoat for all the offensive problems. The truth is Miles and Crowton both share some of the blame.

This is such a load of crap. It has more to do with trying to enjoy a college football season that only last 3 months. It amazes me people wait all year long for football to start and then you bitch and complain the whole way through it. Personally, I enjoy going to the games and laughing at the people who get so worked up. I don't know, maybe Positigers or whatever you call it have something else in life more important than LSU football. I think if you can't enjoy an 11-2 season find another hobby.

Because Crowton is in charge of ONE thing - the Offense. And that one thing has been objectively bad 2/3 of the time he has been here.

Miles is responsible for everything: Offense, Defense, special teams, recruiting etc. Most of the categories have been darn good. Miles can and should get criticized for the offense and hiring of OC...but the good outweigh the bad.

your attempt to link link Crowton and Miles is a little trollish IMO.

Coordinators often take the fall for problems on a team. I see no reason why this should be different @LSU
