Thread # 23 on this just this season. But as an aside, the weenies have not sold their ticket allotment in years. If they do not care, why should LSU?

We did renew the rivalry about 10 years ago but TV, conference requirements, and money caused us to terminate it.

It was one of the oldest rivalries in the country played since 1893. If I were governor they would absolutely play every year home and away and the hell with money. Some things are more important than money. And though small, Tulane’s stadium is a very pleasant place to watch a football game.

More important than money? Not when you are talking a million dollars and more. LSU will never play in a 40,000 seat stadium. Though it would be fun to watch 30,000 LSU fans tailgate in the Up Town N.O.area.

Tulane cant fill up their new stadium....why fill up the dome for them...tulane should have never left the sec...what a stupid move all around for them...they have lost millions for tulane the city and the state with that stupid decision...why help them now
