If a baseball fan has to leave then it's probably for a good reason

Cuz this board is a bunch of freaking bitchy women having hot flashes and complaining about everything while going thru menopause thinking the world revolves around them.

learly the real passion is for football. Baseball is a time filler until football rolls around. people don't want to admit it, but baseball can't generate the same energy regardless of how good they are/may have been.
Very well put. Bottomline is people care about football.

LSU baseball is all about college sports. LSU football is religion

I'm sick of the "beat the traffic" arguement for football games. I sit in the East Upper deck, see the last play of the game from my seats, then walk back to my car which is parked near the Union and I still make it to Metairie in well under 2 hours.
There's 6-8 home football games. Virtually everyone on here looks forward to football season, so why cut yourself short and leave the game early.
Just curious...those that leave the game early...if the game is on tv and you're at home watching, do you turn it off before it's over?

if its 5 min or less to go, no question as to whether or not the tigers win, and there is a better game on another channel, yep i do.

If you have alcohol remaining at the end of a football game then you are doing something wrong.
...Although it's better to have more than you need.

You started the thread bitching, then said you weren't bitching, and called someone out trying to say they are drunk, then tried to call me a moron for pointing out how fricking stupid you were. but thanks for keeping up in your own useless thread, Jackhole.

Let me break it down further for you: People come on the Tiger Rant board of tigerdroppings.com and bitch about people leaving football games early. I am not one of those people. I was wondering why there's a double standard for baseball.
How do you not understand this?

i've been a season ticket holder for just under 20 years and i can tell you that LSU baseball fans have gotten more and more apathetic as the years have gone by ... the Box hasn't been close to being packed for one game all season this year and yes, fans leave early in droves .. you get a wave leaving after LSU bats in the 6th and 7th no matter what the score is .. I have personally never gotten that, but it is their ticket, so I guess they can do what they want with it ..
but i agree with you, LSU baseball fans do seem to get a hall pass on here relative to football ... i agree with some of the points that there are so many home games, but how do you explain people piling out of there during the last few crucial SEC series at home ?

Is this trend something that started during the Smoke down years?

This thread is absolutely correct, and some of the hypocrites posting here are delusional.
There is absolutely a double standard. People come on here and whine and whine and whine about fans leaving an LSU Football game in the 4th quarter when LSU is up 45-3.
And when asked why baseball fans that do the equivalent get a pass, the apologists come in and say, "Because there are a ton more baseball games!" Really?!?!?! That's your reasoning for why it's ok for baseball to do it but not football? Come on, that's ridiculously laughable.

and people on here don't seem to bitch about football fans that buy season tickets and only attend 2 or 3 SEC games and give the rest of their tickets away either ... outside of maybe one or two big games a year, there is a sea of tickets in the air outside of tiger stadium ... LSU football tickets are no longer treated as the priceless gem they once were ..

You're just stirring the pot. It was empty all game long because it was mother's day. No extraordinary amount of people left early.
