Between 2 11 seed teams and 2 12 seed teams? They also have 4 16 seed teams playing, which makes sense but why are the higher seed teams required to play an extra game? Was this done last year or years prior? I haven’t always followed the womens game until recently.

Does the men’s tournaments also have higher seeded play in games?

Do you think they are sitting on chairs or something?

It's how it should be done on the men's side too.

They have at-large teams playing each other rather than auto-bids.

Auto bids should make it to the tourney proper. The at larges should be in the play in.

It's the Last four in at-large teams and the "worst" four auto bids.

most 16 seeds are automatic qualifiers who don’t play in play in games.

They should really only let like 20 teams in tops. The parity isn't there in that sport

My opinion is that it should be the last 8 at large teams in.

Its the 65-68 seeds vs the 4 lowest remaining at-large teams. So usually ends up being 4 worst auto qualifiers vs 4 worst at-large

But I agree. The play in games should be at-large only and reward conference champs with an automatic spot in the round of 64

Got to sell tickets. Not enough parity to make early games interesting enough to local fans.

In general, Lady’s College Basketball doesn’t travel well cross country for small market colleges.

Works as well as it can like it is. Be happy if you can get the game on TV.
