Why does everyone think Shea would come here?

We were never even remotely close to being "in it" during his recruitment, he never visited LSU, he's not from Louisiana (only played high school ball here for two years if I remember correctly), and he has no ties to the university other than a brother that left LSU's staff to go to Ole Miss.
PS Shea was once committed to Arizona, because his brother worked there. Follow where his brother ends up (if he leaves Ole Miss) and that's where Shea will be.
Am I missing something?

I don't understand why we'd want him when we have Brennan and Narcisse. He's probably a little better, but he's also older and would have to sit out a year anyway.

NCAA will waive him, if he asks.
He's admittedly light years than anyone we have on the roster. He's also a baby back bitch and doesn't have the chest to play at LSU. I definetly do not want.

He grew up in La.. His college team is getting nailed with sanctions and will likely not be good for the rest of his career.
Not saying he goes to LSU but transferring wouldn't be the most ridiculous thing.
