I can see how it is annoying but it's not like LSU doesnt do the same thing.

LSU charges a dramatically inflated price for Tulane game tickets compared to other games?

I didnt say they did it for Tulane games. But yes LSU dramtically inflates ticket prices for big games.

I am kinda pissed LSU allows them to do this. I think our AD/SID should tell them stop gouging that one game or we are out
LSU football does that for SEC games

I paid $36 for a UK basketball ticket that usually is around $9.

you would easily. esp a year like this year when Tulane is halfway decent

Yeah, I don't give a shite about playing at Tulane, but they used to get standing room only crowds for the games between the two teams at Zephyr Field.

Yep, it's supply & demand. This is not an uncommon practice. They're only up in arms about it when they're on the receiving end. It's a home game for Tulane, this thread is so unnecessary.

we're college baseball royalty bro. Accept our terms or don't play us. Do Tulane fans just show up to Omaha if their team isn't playing? No! So shut up!

Notre Dame football regularly tells teams that if they want a home game with them, it needs to be in the nearest NFL stadium.

I'm sure Tulane wanted more of the gate at Zephyr
Once Tulane finished their stadium they moved it and started charging about $50 for that one game.

LSU doesn't need to play at Zephyr anymore, they are not putting any money into that stadium.

Exactly...

LSU plays a game at UNO this season too. Is that also an issue?

ETA: This thread is honestly so stupid.

LSU and Tulane play home, and home every year. This is nothing new. They come here on 4/21. No big deal. Ticket price for the return game played here are priced at $7, as compared to $3-$5 for a normal week night game in the season ticket package.

Why not play at Zephyr Stadium? 15,000 people could attend...
Fire marshal might have something to say about that. Stadium only seats 10 K.

If and when it does, playing at Zephyr Field will be justified.

Purdue at Lucas Oil
Syracuse at MetLife
Navy at FedEx

And that was just this year.

Purdue was not a "home game" for them any more than it was for Notre Dame.

Syracuse is a conference game. Notre Dame didn't demand that it be played anywhere. They were going wherever the league told them to.

And do you think Notre Dame threatened to end their 80-year series with Navy if they didn't have it at FedEx?
