When a person says something along the lines of this guy is class act and this other guy is a scumbag and its not really true.. I feel the obligation to point it out.
I know you dont like it, but fact is I didnt make that link up.
It also bothers me that many people have the outlook of excusing peoples actions and behaviors as along as they football.
Billy Cannon is just as much part of this is any other player.

99? that team was TERRIBLE. he was one of the few bright spots on that team. yes he shoulda thrown it against bama. nobody is perfect. The UGA game the pass was batted down. not his fault. we would not have even come back in that game if it were not for booty.
...yes he messed up against UAB in 2000. hate to see how you feel about Lee since you hate Booty so much for his few mistakes. and yes he had to be relieved in the peach bowl where Ro brought us back to victory. But he had a good year that year overall. ALl-SEC. guess you missed his big plays against Auburn in a loss and against Bama and Moo U in wins eh?

This is the kind of crap I referenced as being the primary reason for the viciousness over JJ/Lee. Folks want to "win" the argument so much that they savage the other player, whoever it is.
