That's the same tards who think mett and loston are going pro

You are giving way too much weight to a college career over what a kids actual physical skills are. If you don't think that Loston and Mett have enough physical skills to attract pro scouts in pre-draft workouts you are a fool.

Loston and Mett (and others on the team) want to be professional football players...that is their goal. Thinking another season of CFB is going to make or break them as far as being able to MAKE a NFL roster shows a lack of knowledge of how that whole system works.

When you factor in the injury risk, it makes more sense for a physically gifted guy to just go ahead take his shot. You think another season at LSU is gonna make Loston run faster or jump higher. Do you think his learning how to better play against COLLEGE OFFENSES is going to be really valued by pro scouts? Do you think another season of throwing against COLLEGE DEFENSES is going to make a difference to a pro scout who watches Mett throw in a private workout?

You got enough talent to play pro football? You go and make a roster as soon as you can, the rookie minimum is a TON of money for most of these guys. Then when you get your second contract you will cash in on your actual value as a NFL player.

Ware is a beast! He will have a great NFL career. Hell he could have left last year and been fine. The guy can do anything out of the backfield.

So mett should go and make a roster after throwing 10 TDs and looking lost in 7/10 games?

If a pro scout thinks that a guy has the raw physical tools, which Mett certainly does, then they always think that pro coaches will teach him how to be an NFL QB. Raw physical tools are much more valued than college production. They miss some (see Jamarcus Russel and Ryan Leaf) and hit some, but they are ALWAYS willing to take a chance on a big guy with a big arm!

Yep. A surprising amount of successful NFL QBs weren't exactly heisman candidates coming out of college.

A spring and summer plus 4 preseason games will get him way more "ready for the NFL" than another season of college football will.

powerful, violent runner, decent speed, great hands, great at picking up the blitz, all-around great back. Ypc are down, but he is also the one that they put in when it's 3rd and 3 and they need the first down. His lack of TDs come from the fact that once they get inside the 10 they don't hand it to him. They use Hilliard or Copeland. He is an NFL type back and will be playing on Sunday. I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves and is drafted in the 3rd or 4th round, which for a RB is pretty damn good.

The same folks who believe Ware isn't NFL ready are the same people who thought it was crazy that Ridley left early.

Please STFU & sit down.

No way he leaves. Could still improve his stock next year, with a solid QB and o-line. Plus, he gets fresh dubbage during the offseason.

Yes way!
He's a well known commodity.
He's very NFL ready.
He's not going to improve by staying.

3rd round probably. I'll be very surprised if he's on the board after four.

If he comes back, don't assume he will be behind Blue. Blue will have been out for nearly an entire year....a long time without playing in a real game.

Best recent example is Knile Davis....great in 2010....most experts said he'd be al sec in 2012.... a year is a long time to be out and simply return to your previous level.

Running backs are not QBs, they don't get "ready". They either have the skills or they don't. Running backs would be the first position drafted out of high school if allowed. He is already capable and if he works hard when drafted, he can be another Ridley with a nice career.
