Because, as he should, he is interviewing and entertaining offers. Coach 'O' knows this, that Canada would have to leave if offered the right opportunity and that we need to be prepared.

I get that aspect, but who will hire Canada as HC?

Going to be an OC somewhere else would be a lateral move, pay him less, and likely reflect poorly on him and his ability to manage different personalities.

Even if he wants out I don't see a likely spot for him to end up, at this time.

O mishandled the question at his presser. He showed a lack of professionalism by making the comments he did about Canada-

Go back and listen to his comments about how he knows offense.

O sold JA on bringing in the best coordinators and staying out of the way- He proved up through the Troy game that he thought he knew best. Enter JA to bring a truce.

The rest of this season has been Canada's offense.

If Canada leaves it is because CEO wants him gone

TBH Orgeron's comments are why I believe Canada at least has eyes on other opportunities. We all know how much money he's making but apparently that's not enough to keep his eyes from wandering elsewhere.

If Orgeron didn't know that Canada was looking for other opportunities he would've shut down that line of questioning quickly by saying as far as he knows Canada's going to be here going forward. He didn't do that.

I believe Orgeron is at the very least indifferent to Canada moving on and at most is encouraging it.

or you say - we think Canada is great and could see him getting HC offers, but we plan for him to be here or something

It's not LSU unless the head coach meddles with the offense. We probably haven't seen 50% of his offense.

Bc it’s clear O wants control over the offense and him and Canada don’t see eye to eye.

Ever consider it may not be Canada that wants out but O who wants Canada out?

Man, you hit the nail on the head.

He better leave after putting us in contention to win a Natty! Hopefully this is before his contract is up.

Whether he leaves or stays, I have no idea. What I do know is that no post that I’ve seen on this board indicates anyone else knows either.

Because a big part of the Rant is hoping for O to fail and if Canada leaves that will hurt Os chances so they’re hoping Canada leaves.

1st it was the hire
2nd the loss to MSU
3rd the loss to Troy
then could not find anything..
so now let's blame O if Canada leaves

Canada stays little time at any one place ???
why ? but there is something there.
Kinda like hearing a friend of yours say "This one is the one" but has never had a relationship longer than 3 months.

Whether Canada leaves or not I do not know, but why is it all Os fault ?

Canada seems to have a huge ego...specially as it comes to his system.

Well when our HC meddles and costs us probably the most embarrassing loss in school history, then says he has “an offense in mind”, it’s rather worrisome.

LINK

“Case in point” is like saying “i could care less” it’s a misuse of the original phrase altered by uneducated people in this case you.

Well that's nothing new with Orgeron. He's always had this idea that he wants to re-create the offense that Pete Carroll had at USC. He said he would do this at OM by getting a "Reggie Bush type" of running back. Like those types of guys grow on trees.

Then after he gets hired here he says he wants to run a spread. Then Kiffin falls through and he panics and hires Canada, who doesn't run a spread and who Orgeron doesn't even know. Safe to say Orgeron doesn't know what he wants. Only thing that seems apparent is he wants someone he can control.
