I always noticed that on their promotional stuff… figured it was just cause they needed to try to get the ones that flunked out to feel included..
Btw.. the parents (which did not attend am )…. But have kids going there … are pretty obnoxious also and take on the aggie personality… they are not former students..

This is absolutely a thing. We know a guy who was a UT fan during the Colt McCoy days then had a kid go to school at college station now it’s all maroon everything.

Because we are pissed the SEC let in that strange cult school just to gain access to the state of Texas. SEC membership made them relevant and we then had to compete with them for recruits.

I remember driving past so many of them walking down Nicholson from the Prince M0urat Inn in the 70's. I asked my dear old dad (now deceased may he rest in peace) why they were wearing boots. He said they were Aggies and for me not to worry. 40 years later, I'm living in SE Texas. They are crazy.

They are insufferable. Literally guys claiming Aggies have been “relevant” in football the last 10 years. They had 1 season with 1 loss the rest are 4+ L’s each year.

Meanwhile when they joined the SEC and LSU was in a much better way it took them 7 years, 7 OTs, and a shitty group of officials that blew the call 3 times in a game that LSU should have won 3 times - to actually beat LSU. And this is with Mike Evans, Johnny Football, etc.
