It tells you absolute crap about the team. Most it tells you is who got fat and who has individual work to do.

It has zero implications for the season except getting someone injured.

Because we haven't watched Tiger football for 3 months and won't get to watch Tiger football again for 4 months.

You can't ask the rant why the rant behaves it way it does, its similar to asking your dog how astrophysics works

Because most these mofos on here know WAY more than any of the coaches/staff about where we are and where we need to go and they need to beat it to death ( no matter how far from reality it is) till Labor Day weekend?

Because there is no fall practice to analyze.

I doubt it tells you nothing. The coaches I am sure are analyzing development and work ethic. So there is a point otherwise they would cancel.

Why fans analyze any football with no actual background, experience, etc is the real question.

Me.....I analyze because I am bored.

Boredom and tiger athletics are one of my favorite past times. I don't really take it to seriously.. just nice to see the 2 deeps getting some reps. Nothing more, nothing less.

What do you enjoy and why do you enjoy it, fagget?

People are just desperately hungry to see the new LSU - anticipation and the unknown of new leadership are a powerful drug.

Its ok to analyze it, it's just ridiculous to over analyze it and come away with huge conclusions, especially concerning scrimage stats

The 15 practices we get have zero implications for the season? What about the new offense we are installing?
Surprised more schools aren't opting out of spring ball...

The real question is why are you so intetested in why fans are so interested in spring practice? It has zero implications on the season for you

What, exactly, is the downside? A small glimpse into next season's team? Getting a first impression of the new coaches? Raised expectations? Lowered expectations?

Spring football keeps the me d ia and fans interests. Gives thrm some to talk about. New coordinators get to see how and what adjustments they can make, introduction of schemes
Some of us do understand that teams keep things very vanilla during spring ball as well. Fall camps is usually when things start taking shape like depth charts, weekly game plans, etc... and this is when you really get to know more about the team.
