mm he was the result of the plays called yet the play calling of the second half resembled nothing of the first half...are you saying that he doesnt know the play that he threw a td pass to lafell on? how about the one that he threw to QJ for 35 yards..or mayb the perfect pass the threw to dickson for a td..which of those plays does he not know?

because it is fricking retarded to say that the offense did not move the ball and extend drives (plays and time of posession) because of the defense

they didn't move it because of the play calling...maybe i should rephrase it and say the defense didn't help get him on the field more often.

Lee lost games to the #1, #4, #14, & #22 teams by power ranking.

Jefferson lost to the #72 ranked team.

Honestly, you cannot be claiming that JJ is better.

That's probably the saddest attempt at a point I've ever seen. Lee is better because LSU as a team lost to stronger teams when he was quarterback? Are you fricking kidding me?

Oh now LSU losses as a team to top ranked games, but JJ is the reason we were so close to the worst SEC team we played

Yeah, I'm buying that

If you watched the game it is absurd to deny that he wasn't an improvement at the quarterback position. That said, despite the fact that he spotted opponents around 49 points this season, the only loss that can reasonably be blamed directly on Jarrett Lee's play is the Alabama loss since the rest of the team played so well, but even then it's a bit unfair to pin it on him when he threw for a touchdown and LSU's defense was no obstacle to Alabama in OT.

Lets me make one thing clear to the everyone here on this board. Im new so let me set the record straight.

Im for whoever the qb is on the field for LSU. Im a team first, individual players last guy. Im for winning the game. I dont care if Barney the purple dinosaur was in the game so long as he was driving down the field making plays in order to help us win the game.(On a side note that would be freakin hilarious if I ever saw that on the field in which Barney leads us to victory over Saban in Alabama next year )

But in all seriousness I want the guy who can not only make plays but elevate not only the play but the intensity of the players around him. I want a guy who the rest of the team will rally behind.

I dont even have to have all that. I just need a qb with a nose for the first down marker and one who wont make silly mistakes that kills drives or at inopportune times.

Im going with JJ right now because I like how he has a nose for the first down and he seems to have this refusal about him to not make mistakes....ie...interceptions/turnovers.

Im not holding my breath everytime he throws the ball like I do with Lee.

Lee might play some "quality" minutes next year, but I think Miles found his QB in Jefferson.
