We would have won a championship with Wade. He was one of the to 2-3 coaches in sec and moving up.

What do you think about Kansas? Arizona? Auburn? Duke? Kentucky? Miami, Louisville, standford? lol most of the universities told them to pound sand and get fricked…

It’s what lsu should have done but they suck and fired the best thing to happen to lsu since shaq

Besides Auburn (that is a stretch), which of those schools have a football program of the caliber of LSU's that was under serious scrutiny at the time? In my uneducated opinion, I felt that Wade was fired as a bargaining chip to keep the heat off of the football program. Losing basketball is a lesser loss than sending the football program to purgatory.

I get the thought process, but it was a bad call. You don’t get rid of a guy like Wade in that scenario and trajectory we were on. He was winning when no one wanted him too and he had no support.. from anyone.

Dude could have done it all

Genuinely want to know why the NCAA would sacrifice making an example of LSUs football program if they had legit infractions recorded just to fire Will Wade

If Will Wade is so great, why is he at McNeese?

Scared of NCAA sanctioning football. NCAA made Scott scared by including football allegations so he sacrificed basketball instead of just giving the NCAA the bird cause they have no power.

WW got rid of himself, and he knows it.

And personally, I think the NCAA approached LSU and made a deal to get rid of Wade and leniency in return for the football program....

Wade, and several other young whippersnapper coaches were a threat to the Bluebloods.....again, just my opinion.

If you still have to ask this, you don’t really follow LSU sports.

If all the other schools are doing it, you have to do it in order to compete.

This ain't Chinese arithmetic. I PROMISE YOU that YOUR BELOVED 2019 football championship squad was LOADED with players that received illegal inducements. Do you care to disavow them????

Because if you don't "cheating and lying ok witchu" homeboy.

Get the MOTHERFLUCK off your high horse. LSU is involved in big time athletics, and payments under the table are still going on, even with NIL.

And it'll be that much worse when the "woke" crowd forces colleges to share that $20 million cap per school with the lesbo sports and all the others that DRAIN the athletic department's finances.

The producers in the money sports will get theirs whether it's legal or not. I'm not saying it's right, but do you not understand how the world works?????

Lol at you thinking LSU didn’t cheat as much as Saban at Bama. Saban was just better at it.

When is the last time a major program got in any real trouble in football or basketball?

Tosu had the urban undefeated season. That’s the last major one and the ncaa has lost every single court battle. If LSU wanted to they could have and should have dug in.

The ncaa is powerless but Scotty boy bows to them like it’s 1990

Unc had a much bigger issue considering their cheating was academic and they dug in fought and the ncaa caved.

It was stupid. We had a can't miss Hall of Fame coach, and just fired him for no reason. Stupidity at its finest.

Because he is a lying cheater. Spare me the its legal now and everyone did it then. He had a chance to cooperate like everyone else in that mess did but he chose the sinners route instead. You cant just lie when youre caught red handed and expect to get away with it. We are supposed to set an example for the youth and keeping him would have been the wrong choice. Think about it this way. Would you want your child to lie to your face when you caught them? No. You would want them to confess and ask for forgiveness and choose the path of righteousness. LSU has too much at stake being a leader of men to sink to the levels of alabama and nicm saban. They truly set the college sports world back decades due to their antics. I for one am proud of the backbone LSU showed by putting faith amd morals above losing in the first round of the tournament every year

Lmao. Loser
