Well, I don't want to blame it all on 9/11, but it certainly didn't help.

Surgery is always the last option. I'm sure he was rehabbing and it wasn't getting better at the rate they had hoped.

I'm not looking for him to play the first couple of games. Just hope he is fully committed to dominate when he does come back

With or without Key this defense will be nasty so it's really on him to get back here at 100% and play as much as he can to garner a top position in the draft. I wouldn't mind seeing what we looked like the first couple games without him. Then he come back strong and we look that much better. Aranda will find a way to fill his numbers one way or another. We might be a more multiple defense without him because Aranda would send different people at the QB to fill his numbers. With Key we really don't need to come at people in all kinds of ways because Key is that good. So I wouldnt mind seeing what we look like without him. No doubt we are better with him but if people think we would drastically fall off they would be wrong IMO. HTT

Most likely because he had to be enrolled full time to qualify for surgery. I think that he was only taking a few classes in the spring and then enrolled full time for summer which would allow him to have the surgery paid for by the school. This makes sense as to why it was performed on the first day of summer school.

Sorry you won't get the chance. It will be the same. This guy - K'Lavon Chaisson was 6-5 230 out of high school and rated .9816 and ranked as the 4th WDE in the nation . Arden Key was 6-5 230 out of high school and rated as .9590 and ranked as the 4th WDE in the nation.

What I can't wait for is to see both of them meet at the QB on obvious passing downs when Arden comes back.

Coach O killing QB's one sack at a time.
