Why did Greedy not Interview?

Did teams not invite home for an interview or did he just say he wasn’t interviewing with teams?

My understanding is that he wasn’t asked to. I don’t believe he turned any requests, there just weren’t any requests.

To interview a team must want to interview you. May of not had any teams interested in interviewing

Did I hear correctly? He only ran the 40 at The Combine and did no drills? Just did drills at LSU pro day?

Yes you are correct very little tape at combine. To be honest Greedy only has himself to blame for the unexpected drop in the draft. I was one of the few that had a feeling he wouldn’t be drafted in the first round! Not only that he isn’t probably in the top 3-4 DB in the draft. If playing CB was only about shutting a receiver down he would be number 1. But football is more than just covering someone. This isn’t flag football.

They have no need to interview Greedy. He is a pure cover corner, a really really good one. He has had no drama, there is literally zero reason to interview him.
Make no mistake about it, Greedy has gaps in his game. But not as a cover guy.
IMO Baker was taken because he is better playing two way goes of the slot guy. Greedy is better at leveraging outside. Baker is better in run support.
