We finally played some legitimate competition outside of Florida. Who even they were in the first week of starting Treon Harris. I don't think people realize how cream puff our first 7 games were. When we couldn't simply lean on Fournette to keep us in the game, it was too much for Harris to undertake.

He didn't regress, he was no good at first and no good at the end. He just played easy teams at first.
CCC added a few more plays to the playbook and BH was .

Wake up people. We need a real QB here, not a great athlete that played QB in high school.

He doesn't do enough of the things you need to do consistently well in the SEC to make a difference......

Because he is a first-year starter who got shook and started to struggle, much like nearly every other first-year starting QB everywhere in the country.

THIS!!! This stuff has been beaten like a dead horse. Most great QB's didn't dominate as Freshman or sophomores. Our problem has been that we have been required to start underclassmen. Harris has all of the tools he just needs time to develop. Unlike Jennings who I do not think has the physical tools to compete at this level.

He most certainly was.

He most certainly was. Before the bama game his completion % was below 50. His short and intermediate passes have been bad all season.

Our passing game is only effective if we are having success running the ball. When we go to the pass after the run has been shut down its hard to find success especially with a sophomore qb.

Played great defenses in Bama and good defenses in Arky. Threw it ok against Oke Miss, and stunk against Aggie

I don't know that he regressed. He blew like a bus load of hookers against EMU and didn't look great against AU

There's no offensive direction and you can't turn the passing game on and off when you have to pass.

The coaches would pass more if our passing game executed better. Miles has proven that when he trusts a qb he will throw the ball.
In 2013 Mett was 6th in the sec in attempts and he played 1 less game than the other qbs.

I promise the coaches know the player' strengths and weaknesses better than we do. If the players are executing in practice they will call those plays more.

He was right though. Footwork has a huge effect on accuracy and Harris ' footwork got sloppy later in the year.

Since he had his best games against Arkansas and Ole Miss 271/351 yards passing he did not regress but actually improved. He did not need to pass against Texas A&M as the running game was working. We have a running back that has over 1600 yards rushing and everyone talks about the Offensive Line.

I refuse to believe that BH is actually a bad QB. Sure, he's not good at this point, but too many big time recruits have come to LSU only to be labelled as 'sucks'.
BH was one of the best high school QBs I've seen. Huge upside.

It's coaching folks. i believe in coincidence ... But come on.

This staff would make Tom Brady regress.

I saw no regression. He is who I thought he was. He had improved since his freshman year. Hope he continues to improve.

Opposing coaches knew who he was. They all know the priority is to stop LSUs running game and you have a good chance to win.

Open eyes. BH was the 9th rated QB in the 2014 recruiting class. 5 SEC teams recruited a QB that was higher rated...in that year alone including Cornwell at Alabama.

Well he still was a good prospect but don't tag him as a can't miss prospect coming out of high school. The problem is there are just very few QBs on the team. The cupboard is pretty bare...I don't fully understand why but have a theory...for later.

There is a JC pro style QB, Riley Ferguson, available to be recruited who originally was signed by Tennessee. But LSU has not recruited any JC players....It is worth noting Alabama has commitment from the #1 JC prospect, a OLman.

The answer is...when a 200 lb. QB gets hit by 300 lb. DLs...a few times, you find out what he's made of quickly...call it nerves, yips, whatever
