This is random, and I’m not quite sure what you’re talking about.

I’m assuming everyone is watching the Saban series on ESPN

It's pretty obvious what he's talking about if you're an LSU fan

1. Saban documentary is out.

2.He wishes we played Alabama and saban at Tiger Stadium because he fricked up and ultimately destroyed our football program from 2008-2025 outside of one season 2019.

It was almost 20 years ago. Let it go and live in the present.

I will never let saban going to alabama and 1/9/12 and destroying our program go. That was our dynasty and it all came crashing down 1/9/12

This is a bit of hyperbole. We had some good seasons during this time.

#1 sign of an entitled fan is when every season is a total failure if it doesn’t result in a national championship.

You do you, I guess. But if we’re asking questions about the football gods, ask why they didn’t allow LSU to swallow some pride and approach Saban about coming back when there was so much noise around him flirting with Alabama? LSU bungled that situation.

I would imagine it was away because it was a home game in 06 and 08.

Saban was never going to stay here more than five years. Anyway. If you don’t understand that, you don’t know football. He was a mercenary at the time.

You wanted to fire a coach who had back to back 11-win seasons with epic bowl game beatdowns of Miami and ND?

No. Les Miles absolute refusal to go get a quality QB and refusal to throw a pass is what did that. And did him in. He promised year after year that we would have a capable offense, and then three yards and cloud of dust every game.

God rest his soul. But it’s obvious after watching the doc that Skip screwed lsu when he left for the dolphins and Skip also screwed lsu when Saban wanted to leave the dolphins

In the words of Will Wade “you been under a rock?”

Saban doc is out. Just finished episode 2 and Saban says “we won the game did we not?” Twice! If the 07 game were at lsu we could’ve said f u saban with a win and all our demons can be let go. But now for all of eternity our demons sat and festered until the day he retired!

You and brian kelly were yelling at TD fans since 1/9/12 to 2025 saying you guys are spoiled.
LSU has been an average SEC program for the last 14 seasons.

minus the 2019 anomaly goat season.

Why would beating him in Tiger Stadium instead of Bryant-Denney in 2007 change anything?

No. Les Miles

you made my point. Had nick saban not left none of what you just said mattered. Saban destroyed our program once he signed with Alabama. We fired 3 coaches in between because of one man.

Because he wouldn’t had to lose in front of the place he used to be at and feel the heat of our fans yelling at him and not give him the satisfaction of beating us in our own house the first time he ever came back… I honestly can’t believe im having to explain this.

Yes. You’re mentioning the highlights, but there were also some issues with Miles that anyone who was watching objectively could already see. I say this loving me some Les, but— without hindsight— I’d have gladly sent him packing to get Saban back at that moment.
