I have never seen lsu fans be scared of one player since mcfadden. The guy had one great game against a tenn defense with their best D starters out because of attempted armed robbery (i think).

I mean he is one player and hardy is out. Ole miss was taken to the wood shed by auburn (i know transitive property does not work goes the saying) a auburn team that we obliterated.

But that is not the purpose of this thread.

If nutt can do this with one undersized wr, why can't we do this with the most explosive athlete to come out of high school since harvin?

we held ingram to less then 50 yards in the first half against alabama.

He is one player and we will contain him. I don't think it's thier off vs our def to deciede the game. But our off vs thier def. If JJ has the time and is healthy, we should win. I want to see shepard on the field at least every other play. He should be on the field every play, but baby steps for this coaching staff. If he ever got into a zone or rythm, he would be unstopable.

he looks considerably better then mccluster. That is all they really got.

are you people really that doubtfull?

FOr the record i did not watch the game, just saw the stats. And yeah they are incredible. But i take into acount tenn not being focussed on the task with off field issues and several starters not playing.

I am not worried about the d. The tech game was a obvious trap game. after the biggest game of the year, and before ole miss. They took the night off.

lsu 34

ole miss 17

I think he doesn't know the offense well enough yet.

McCluster runs low to the ground better than Shep.

If Shepard is better than McCluster, we'll never know because we never use him.

Only because they only gave him 6 carries. Once they actually decided to run the ball the front 7 got dominated and we had no answer.

If he doesn't know the offense well enough, then who is to blame? Coaches you dumbass. It is thier job to get these guys ready. Miles said for how long last year that JJ wasn't ready, while JL was continually throwing pick 6's. But he sure looked just fine when finally given the chance.

Maybe because he has a total of 20 plays in his play book and we have to call timeout every time he has to come into the game because he doesn't know where to line up.

Well, I'll ask you this one: Why can't we use TH like that? He is explosive and just needs a little more experience to improve. This offensive coaching staff is a joke considering the talent we have wasted recently.

Shep will get to McCluster status one day, but he is not there yet. Moffet is good, but Shep just is not in that kind of physical shape right now. I suspect next year you will see a lot different body sported by Shep with Moffet having another summer with him. He has even developed quite a bit since arriving, from High School.
