Instead of Mike, I'd rather Michael Clayton/Justin Vincent throw out the first pitch for the 2 games. Nice 2003 frick you to Oklahoma.

This is not a LSU produced event. The NCAA is using the facility and selected LSU to play in it.....

The Tigers are 0-2 when Mike has been at the new box. I can't remember the team we played the very first time; however, we lost to Vanderbilt the last time he made an appearance.

I have seen Mike in his cage on wheels before a baseball game before. Granted that was a couple of years ago, but they have done it in the past. I wish they would do it more (first/last game of season would be nice).
Along those lines, something we were talking about in our section this past weekend: why has the band never once come to Alex Box? I should have thought opening night of the new stadium would have warranted it but, no. We also don't get any cheerleaders (Chris Gillott (sp?) being an exception, I guess).

That's cause we haven't used him correctly. We need to put Mike over by 3rd base. Then we need to have the 3rd base coach dress up in the fake Mike
mascot uniform. Mike hates the fake Mike!
No opponent gets past 3rd (or to 3rd for that matter!)

That might work; however, let's experiment with that idea "next" season just in case.

Regional and super regionals are ncaa events. That's the reason we were in the 3rd base dugout on Sunday.
BTW...ESPN reported Mike is watching the games on his Ipad via ESPN3.
