I had no problems pulling for LSU in the CWS last year. Mainly because I knew that Carolina was the better team and had a better shot at the title. This is no different.

Here's the deal... It would be foolish for Temple to guard Lawson initially, b/c of speed and Lawson doesnt strike me as a shooter, but Ellington is, although he is slumping but could easily score a ridiculous amount in this toruney. So Temple has to guard Ellington or Green, whichever one starts to heat up. Spencer can guard Lawson if he backs up and doesnt get right on him, have to make Lawson hit a couple threes to respect him. As for TH, the only thing I'm worried about is that he's so erratic and gets calls that Tasmin could get in foul trouble, so we have to go to Tasmin early to get TH in foul trouble. I would give Tasmin the first two possesions to try to pick up a foul but I would make Tasmin apply the pressure on TH b/c he cant play defense or block shots, so Tasmin's hook shot will be key in this game. Now, as for Deon THompson, he could explode in this game on the boards against Chris, but something tells me that Chris will somewhat hold his own, if he doesnt get pushed in the paint. the key is for Chris to not let Deon get right under the goal on his post-up. I feel Marcus has to be the person who can drop down and help from the opposite side of the block if Thompson gets the ball and take our chances. We can beat this team and out of all the #1's thiso is the team we can beat. Just wish this game was in the Sweet Sixteen, but it may be an advantage b/c Roy won't have as much time to prepare. The thing that worries me is if we have a tough game with Butler, fatigue may be a factor in the second half with Carolina.

Beating UNC would be an upset of monumental proportions, bigger than the Duke upset of '06 in my opinion. This would be along the lines of the Ga Tech, Memphis State and Uk wins in the '86 season. I can happen and I hope it will, but I'll not hold my breath.

I think I'd give half of my jizz supply to see Hansborough cry at the hands of LSU like JJ did.

This could be the record number of shot fakes ever.

CJ can stand straight up, arms extended, and TH would have a hard time shooting over him.

LSU has to beat Butler first, which wont be easy

Ed Davis and or Deon Thompson will foul CJ out of the game if TH doesn't do it first.

we can beat them.. but marcus thornton and taz will both have to play lights out.. along with bo spencer and GT playing well and hitting 3's.. also in lawson is still banged up then that helps as well

Thats just it. He doesnt have too. He is just so used to doing it, it is habit for him.

This is just like Thabeet playing Blair.

In which case Thompson probably eats us alive. Personally, I don't think CJ can guard Hansboro or Thompson. They are just too strong.
