Fascinating to see people actually buying Landry’s bullshite
I'm interested to hear how these people think a contract will be written where LSU (and therefore the state) is never a liable party for payment.

Josh Brooks already publicly turned down LSU before they could even offer him apparently. And did so while thanking the governor of Georgia. I thought that was interesting.
He never wanted to leave Georgia. This has nothing to do with what Landry said lol

He actively pushed the AD out. And did it in a very public manner.
So if Landry wasn’t involved then Woodward would still be here?

Or Kiffin could be deciding between LSU and Florida and doesn’t want to have to deal to worry about the governor publicly bashing him
I can’t with this lol

Just FYI, this will be Tacky's argument no matter who declines the LSU job. He'll always move the goalposts to say "HA he was never coming anyway!"

I’m interested to see literally any example of taxpayers footing the bill for a coach’s buyout. Moscona asked Jeff for any example and of course he changed the topic without answering.
Because there will never be a buyout without the donors lined up
If there were no donors lined up, Kelly would be our coach today

LSU Board of Supervisors member and athletics committee chair John Carmouche addressed those comments. “Let me make it clear. The governor had a right to be concerned, and we’re working toward solutions. Everything is on the table."

I'm not worried, I'm pissed.....he has no business making uneducated comments about a subject he knows nothing about.

Easiest way to get my point across to such a retarded thought that I can’t believe actually went through someone’s mind lol

That’s not true at all. I’m surrounded by conservatives like myself, and they are all pissed at him. I didn’t think it was possible for Landry to piss of the MAGA crowd, especially after they totally ignored his ties to liberal trial lawyers, but he definitely did with his moves this past week. He did the one thing that could make people forget partisan politics in this state.

BK & everyone associated with his hire & that absurd, ridiculous contract needed to be held accountable & run off. DONE.
At least Landry helped facilitate that. Now he should stop the babbling & attempt to govern the state. Landry is a terribly emotional & inarticulate communicator…his demise.

At this point in time? I’m not sure but I think so.

You keep saying shite like this but still haven’t given any reasons to back up your side of things. It’s hilarious.

Lol. You got me man! Nobody here knows anything internally. But like I said, if you think what Landry had said it done has made or will make coaches/agents change their mind, then that’s just a lack of logic on your part lol

When neither side knows internal facts. The most logical path is usually the correct one. None of this is hard, unless you can’t stop reacting like a 12yr old girl lol

Don’t need Landry to embarrass Louisiana! It’s last in nearly every metric that matters.
Posted on 11/1/25 at 12:41 pm to TackySweater
It’s wild how often you are using the word logic but haven’t actually made a specific logical point. You just keep yapping about 12 year old girls or something..
Posted on 11/1/25 at 12:48 pm to LSBoosie
I’m pointing out the opposite of logic in so many cases lol
For someone to think a coach/AD wants to be here, money is right, etc., but he turns it down because he’s scared of the governor, is just so illogical and embarrassingly laughable lol

Garret Graves is GOP and was the Congressman from Baton Rouge who decided not to run for re-election when Landry and Louisiana house and senate put in place the new congressional districts, These districts I do believe are part of this recent SCOTUS case and how the districts get redrawn or if they are to be left alone I honestly do not know.
The only ties Woodard and Graves have are that they both are Catholic High-Baton Rouge Graduates, but about 10 years apart.
And no I did not attend Catholic High in Baton Rouge.

What if thank candidate wants to be here but also wouldn’t mind being at Florida? Or Penn State? Or they also like where they are at? Then what? What’s the differentiator?

LSU is the top open job in the country. If they don’t prefer us over all those other ones, then they didn’t want to be at the highest level.
