Woodward was in bed with the progressives in La. (JBE, Carville, Collis Temple, the Fayards, Mary Olive Pierson, etc. Also, Garrett Graves)

Their minions are out in full force trying to turn the absolutely correct firing of Sloan, Kelly, and Woodward (who you will notice was protecting a certain asst coach that was his mole from being fired)

Theyre making it political because their peeps are being pushed out

It needed to happen. It happened. And the results are that the libtards and soft republicans are now agreeing with Ryan Clark, Moscona and James Carville on here. That should tell you all you need to know

When was the last time the state had had to underwrite any liability from LSU from a coach firing? That applies to every school in the state not named LSU. LSU is self-funded along with private donations which is why his public antics made no sense.

So you’re just refusing to give actual reasons to give actual reasons to back up what you think?

Nobody has any factual evidence about why it won’t or won’t matter. But logic says it won’t. This isn’t hard lol

Because the governor is managing to create a mess like I’ve never seen at LSU just exactly at the time we are trying to make a key hire and making an arse of our state on national media all at the same time. It’s actually impressive. I really couldn’t imagine this.

The state was never going to be liable for the contract. NEVER. People were made b/c Landry fabricated a scenario that has never happened and will never happen to make this about him saving the taxpayer from a boogie man that didn't exist.

I’ve given logical reasons as to how it could matter.

You think a coach is going to really want this job, but ultimately day, “nah I can’t do it becuase if what the governor said”

This is 100% embarrassingly laughable for anyone who thinks this

At this juncture it doesn’t matter what coaches think, it’s about their agents. The same agents Jeff spent the whole week bad mouthing. In the end money will talk, but you’d be daft to think Jeff hasn’t made our path to getting guys like Kiffin that much tougher.

In a statewide televised address Thursday, Edwards said campuses could run out of money and be forced to shut down in April, highlighting the LSU football team as one program that could be lost as a result of massive cuts to higher education funding.

"If you are a student attending one of these universities, it means that you will receive a grade of incomplete, many students will not be able to graduate, and student-athletes across the state at those schools will be ineligible to play next semester," Edwards said, according to The Times-Picayune. "That means you can say farewell to college football next fall."

What Landry did pales in comparison to this moron threatening LSU football for more taxes

You know what the state taxpayers ARE liable for? Woodward’s buyout. Thanks, Jeff.

Nothing he said made any coach or their agent say, “nah we changed our mind”

Like I said. It’s embarrassingly laughable if you actually think that’s the case

It’s not just what he said, it’s his actions. He actively pushed the AD out. And did it in a very public manner.

There might be some someone like Kiffin, who totally doesn’t care and he’ll take the job. Or Kiffin could be deciding between LSU and Florida and doesn’t want to have to deal to worry about the governor publicly bashing him and also wants to know who the AD is that he will be working for. Or there could be someone like Dillingham who doesn’t want to deal with any of it at all. I have no clue. And neither do you.

Josh Brooks already publicly turned down LSU before they could even offer him apparently. And did so while thanking the governor of Georgia. I thought that was interesting.

Its in the contract dumbass

You can put together all the buyouts of every coach in LSU history and you might get halfway to $54M. Its a problem for a state. BK isnt going to sue Todd Graves for his money, hes suing La, by way of LSU

Even Penn St refused to answer how they are going to pay for Franklins $49M buyout. Every governor and college president is doing this right now because of Landry
