The Evolution of Tiger Rant

In the beginning, we were all fans. Okay? And then one day a couple of fans had a ranter baby, and the ranter baby was different, so it got to live. So ranter Baby goes on to make more ranter babies, and then one day, a ranter baby troll crawled out of the ocean with its... mutant troll hands... and it got teabagged by Gump or something and made this: ranter Gump-troll, and then ranter Gump-troll had a ranter baby which was a... Negatiger... And then this Gump-troll had butt sex with that Negatiger, and that Negatiger had a mutant ranter baby that screwed another Gump-troll... and that made Negatiger Troll!

So there you go! This board is full of the rantarded offspring of Gump-trolls teabagging on Negatigers! Congratulations!

why should we have beaten UF and not Bama?

We shut out Fla in 1st half. Held them to 14 pts. I think we should have won. Bama was a great game and I do think we should have won the game but at least we played well offensively.

Lyera and huff have a combined beastly 49 catches. Huff isn't better than Landry

Jones with his 500 recieving yards and 4 TDs is just flat out better than Landry also, I suppose

Riddick might not be better than hill but I'll give you that to help you out

We have Mingo, Sam, Logan, Reid, minter, Simon, copeland, Landry, hill, etc

But I guess the 2 guys on each team that'd start here = outright more talented

I think a lot of fans get discouraged the way Lsu plays down to their completion. Some teams we should beat 45 points but only beat them 8. We just can't get up for these games so we don't move up in the poles. I personally don't care as long as we win, but u can't blame the people that make the poles!

Lyera is a TE, genius.

That's because ND is a running team. But I like the way you're comparing all these guys to just Landry. Considering that LSU is the "most talented team in the country." Landry is an individual. Not a team.

So you're saying that if these guys were on different teams, they'd be better since the coaching is terrible at LSU?

Because if these guys were the most talented in the country and they can play regardless of the coaching, right? That's the Rant's mantra anyhow.......

Sam is a beast. Correct. Mingo has disappeared. Reid played like the most talented in the country this year, huh? Who were you watching? Landry is a beast. Hill? RB's are a dime a dozen. They're, for the most part, all on even playing fields and those fields depend on their OL.

Obj has better stats than huff and jones

Hill and riddick have the same ypc while hill has about 5 more TDs on 50 less carries..

Keep naming those guys who are just outright better than ours, though

ETA: kadron fricking Boone nearly has better stats than huff.

and they shut us out in the 2nd half, held us without a TD the whole game, and just generally smacked our offense around all game. Mett hit less than 50% of his passes and the running game did nothing. we lost 2 starters to injury that still haven't played again (Williford and Kwon) and also Minter for a series.

I think we could have won, but nothing about that suggests we should have won.

So you discredit reid and mingo's talent because of a down year? Brilliant

Who said they were better? I said they're on par with LSU. According to you, these LSU players are all more talented than what I listed.

Keep beating that drum, man. You seem to know what you're talking about.

I love the tigers but am Goddaam disappointed in some of the decisions and coaching on this staff. The team underachieved and finished the season flat. The team lacks swagger and a killer attitude. Playcalling is shite and it all starts with Miles. His philosophy of playing defense running the ball and winning the game in the fourth quarter doesn't put inferior opponents away!

+1
a great record does not erase all the bad.
it may minimize it, but it is still there waiting to show up...and show up it did FL and AL

This. Can never really get upset with the great effort in the Alabama game.

The Florida game was obviously the big disappointment. The offense was horrible. After that game a lot of the positigers on the Rant just said that we didn't have the talent, our O-Line can't get it done, yada, yada. Since the offense has done much better. Mett has started to shine, and some of the players that we weren't seeing enough of got chances to make some good plays for the team.

i guess what hurt most about it was that you could see the incredible job the defense was doing. (Oh yeah, forgot about the "you can't have a good O and D at the same time" excuse)

So where are you getting at? All this constant bitching that you do is pathetic. Please reveal what level of retard you are if you actually want miles to get fired after an sec title and bcs game appearance last year and a 10-2 season this year.

You can't be taken seriously.

I told you name 3 teams who were "outright" more talented, you edited your post with "on par" because you knew there weren't 3 teams who were outright more talented even with backups starting

Well we can just agree to disagree. We had spring and fall camp to work on our offense. We had plenty of blowouts to bring mett in games last year to get him some game experience. Their failure to do so meant he had to learn on the field THIS year. That is my biggest gripe with this staff. Rivers has seen no significant game time this year b/c early in the season we had to develop Mett.

Agree with this. I never say shite like "we suck" or anything but being at the game Friday I yelled at Miles real bad for the same 4th down play that didn't work against Bama.
Then I yelled at Chavis on Arky's successful 4th down conversion. Many of us in the nosebleed with good view of field could sense that they were going to throw that ball deep on 4th.

Other than those two plays I was happy with the tough win against a fired up team and really good QB/RB.

But you claim they're more talented. I listed 5 teams that are on par with LSU to show that LSU is NOT the most talented team in the country like you say they are.
But you want to tard up the Rant so much, you can't look at the big picture and what went down theoughout the entire season.

It's sad, really.

ok dude

If you think ND and Oregon are on par with LSU, talent wise, then idk what to tell you.

You named 2 guys off each team that'd start here. That doesn't equals "on par" with someone talent wise

Uf, UGA and bama are probably the only teams similar in terms of talent

I'll see you around, prom
