frick off. I was so pissed when Miles said that pussy shite right after we won that game.

Did you see that TV rating for the game? The advertisers who pay big money for TV commercials have already sent the message: "We want the LSU - Bama rematch in the Playoffs."

Really don't think it's a "scared to play Bama" thing more so than it's a total slap in the face that they would once again backdoor into the big show. If the shoe was on the other foot and it was LSU that lost I would be shocked if they let LSU in without even winning their own division much less the SEC championship. Bama gets in on name/coach not what happens on the field. With their schedule so far this year there is absolutely no reason they should be ranked in the top 5 teams when their only game against a ranked team is an L at home. They should have sat Tua last night if the game wasnt important enough to keep them out of the playoff, that game should have been do or die just like it would have been for LSU

Man, have an upvote! People need to realize that we are arriving! It’s here! I’m hoping Bama gets in. Play them first in a 1-4 matchup. We will annihilate them! All those past Demons will be put down this year!
Listen to me my Louisiana brothers in blood, we bleed the same color blood, purple and gold! I know the pain we’ve felt! Our metamorphosis is complete! We’ve become savage hardened soldiers, forged in the fire of failure. Of almost glory. Well, almost glory no more! We’ve come to collect our glory! On behalf of our fathers and families! Some of which have not lived to see the sunrise of this new day! We’re gonna Braveheart the shite outta Bama for the foreseeable future!!

Exactly my point, we already proved we were the better team so why should there be a do over. I honestly dont think the game would be close if we played them again, we are a better offensive and defensive team than them at this point. I personally dont care who we play, making the playoffs is a huge deal and totally puts LSU football back on the map. I'm just saying I can see why it would piss people off if they backdoored into the playoffs when they really shouldnt

I really don't think that it's because LSU doesn't want to play Bama again (although nobody wants to play Nick Saban twice).

My take is that the angst is because the ridiculousness and flaws in the current playoff system are becoming clearer every year.

This could be the second time in three years that Bama fails to win it's own fricking division yet is rewarded with a veritable bye week while LSU and UGA put their seasons (and possible injuries) on the line in Atlanta.

I don't care how you slice it, it is utter bull shite. The system is clearly flawed.

There's hypocrisy though. We've been campaigning the entire season to be let into the playoffs assuming a Bama loss.

Now people are saying Bama doesn't deserve in no matter what. Maybe they won't deserve in when the dust settles but I don't see why people are freaking out about it being a possibility. We have no idea what other teams will do. We don't know if there will be another two-loss conference champ this season. Just a lot we don't know.

I don't necessarily care if they get in or not because I think we can beat them again, but the hypocrisy is pretty blatant here.

Well if they got the #3 seed and had to play Ohio state 1st and then Nick only had a week to prep for us I wouldn't mind so much. If they give Bama the 4th seed and they get a whole month to rest Tua and prep for us it's really unfair. Bama played nobody all year, they play us a good game but lose at home, and get a rematch and a month to prepare while we go to war against Georgia and risk injury. It's a very unfair advantage for the 4th seed getting into the playoff.

You are 100% correct!!! As soon as the 2011 game was over this talk started. As soon as this game was over the same crap started. If the shoe was on the other foot, THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL!!! that the Alabama fans would be saying that LSU deserved a rematch!!! LSU fans, do not fall for this trap!!! HELL NO TO A REMATCH!!!!!!

I heard this same crappy question by people in 2011. Les Miles took the bait as well and said it would be an honor to play them again or some such statement. Rematches in the same season are statistically not good for the winner of the first game. WHAT IS IT THAT YOU DON'T GET ABOUT THAT????

There are times in life when you become aware of something otherworldly or spiritual is happening. Like a growth. But all of a sudden BOOM!! IT HAPPENS! LSU football has happened this year. It will continue to happen for the foreseeable future. It’s not about proving anything, to anyone, anymore! We know the beast we are! We don’t care who we play, and how many times, we play them! This year! This time! This team will not be beat! These players won’t allow it. Also, if some of you don’t know what kinda beast y’all have on this LSU football team this year.....you’re gonna miss it if you don’t open your souls. Your’re right...we don’t have anything to prove. Quit thinking those terms. We are not proving shite anymore! We are about inflicting the LSU Throbbing will on those frickers! It’s time to ”Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women!

This is right. It’s not about Bama for me. I’d rather not play FL again either.
It’s not scared. It’s common sense.

1. It's bullshite that we should have to beat them twice every year to win a Natty.

2. Bama is the one team that LSU has the worst odds of beating. Even if you say we have a 70% chance of winning. We still lose 3/10 times.

Bama out on Principles.
Can't win the West. Can't win the SEC Outright.
They don't deserve to go over other Conference Champions.

If Bama gets in, Conference Championships become meaningless garbage games.

It’s not that anyone is “scared” to play the Gumps again. It’s the fact that they don’t deserve to share the same field with LSU again this year. LSU went into Tuscaloosa and beat their arse. Playing the Gumps again is beneath LSU.
