I only see a handful of fans defending Miles. After several days of ranting, what more can be said?

Rationale fans understand Miles won't be fired under any circumstance this year. There isn't much more to say about Miles ... until after the Arkansas game.

Yes, the national coverage has picked him apart. I am speaking about poor performances overall.

But LSU can't fire him--not at this point. So, I'll support him as long as he's our coach.

He is ALMOST a dead man walking...that's a given. However, he is likely NOT going anywhere for another year. So, if we just continue to publicly deride, flame and try to humiliate the man at every opportunity that crap carries over to the team and we provide the media with more fodder to drag the program down (consider recruiting here) on national TV, sports talk shows, the internet, etc. We just add more fuel to an already ugly fire.

I love LSU too much to play a part in what could potentially contribute to drag it down even further. I will loudly support the team, will not defend Miles but also will not deride him destructively like so many on here seem to be doing.

ETA: It is becoming almost as embarrassing to see and here the crazy rantings occurring on this board popping up in the media. Our fanbase is becoming as embarrassing as Miles' frickup.

Miles is making that an easy argument.

The team starts with and includes the head coach. To not support him is to not support the team. I will support and pull for Miles as long as he is wearing purple and gold to succed.

And that's a problem that some of our fanbase will have as long as Saban is at Alabama,or longer, maybe. Some of these people worship Saban so much that even if Miles leaves this season--for whatever reason, the new coach will never measure up to Saban in their minds.

The same team he coached to a 9-3 record the previous year.

Agree...too many have blinded themselves to Nick's frickups at LSU as they have to anything positive done by Les.

Those pictures don't change the reality of the current situation.

But keep posting if it make you feel better about the direction of LSU football.

So those photos are NOT part of the reality of Les Miles?

Nice spin. Guess you accidentally left out "current situation" in my post.

If you're happy with the last two years, fine. I'm not.

I could care less about Sabin, ,but did u see the game Sat? That is the poorest coaching job i have ever seen in college football. I don't know where he was, but he was not in oxford. I still back the team & all ways will But be ready for another poorly coached team next yr.

I've accepted mediocrity, not happy with it but I've accepted it because I have no conrol of the situation and it does not personally affect my life other than piss me off.
