Worked for Ole Miss.
Worked for Auburn.
Worked for everyone that hired Calipari (too soon to tell for Arkansas)
Worked for Houston.

This reminds me of the street ball offense crowd, and the wade’s teams don’t play defense group.
Wade is a good coach, the numbers don’t lie.
I will agree that there is a contingent of fans that aren’t really basketball savvy, who remember winning with Wade and act as if he is the greatest coach in cbb. I believe there even was a poster who made a thread about him being the best.
I think we will be back to square one either after this or next season. Likely hiring a HC from a mid major again and hoping it works out. I’d be interested to see Alan Huss

No true LSU MBB fan feels this. That is not correct at all.

I am an LSU MBB fan, I know Wade had faults, I know he had/has room to grow. He's not Jesus.

This is the narrative that either dumb or agenda based people propose to dismiss failure and distract.

Wade isn't God... go from there. CoachMc has been a complete failure for LSU... go from there.

I will say for me, and some others, it's when you're going 2-16 and the writing is on the wall, but you still care.

That's not this season, we're 3-11.

Fans are glutton for punishment, it makes the windows of winning more enjoyable.

I’m not saying MM is a better coach because the results say otherwise. WW did win but he was NEVER going to bring us a title. He would make the tournament and maybe pull off an upset here and there but the very elite teams he couldn’t beat with consistency. I chalk that up to not having a team that can consistently shoot the 3. I watched a few games where better teams would pull out in front and we couldn’t catch up because 2 points is less than 3 and when we did try 3’s we weren’t successful consistently. I like winning, but what’s the point if your ceiling isn’t national title caliber? It would be like keeping BK for for the entire 10 year contract if he never wins a natty. We’ll be relevant and probably make a few playoffs but never win a natty. That’s not fun for me personally. It’s like we would be the Penn St of basketball.

I still have the vision of the AD sitting watching LSU blow it's tourney with an assistant coaching.
