If your point is how could I support such a terrible awful coach that eventually was responsible for the best team LSU will ever produce, not a very good argument

My point is youre talking about supporting a coach that has accomplished so little when you literally dickrode a coach who’s only notable accomplishment was being the worst coach in ole miss history.

how dare I give a coach a chance to succeed, who ended up being successful.

You got me!

Remains unsurprising that you can’t read.

It’s not difficult.

They were physical played defense and ran the entire court. They could shoot 3 they didn’t live or die on it.

So that means we can't reference his tenure to what's going on now and make comparisons? Hell man, that's what forums like this do. I think it speaks to something tangible that he's still so strongly and passionately discussed here.

I don't see the need to never discuss him just because he ain't never coming back. We discuss Dale all the time here and he ain't never coming back.

he guy has tremendous support here in Louisiana. Both from fans, and more importantly, the donors. He would IMMEDIATELY get the significant increased NIL funds that LSU is pretending McMahon will get next year (despite, if you believe LSU, not getting it at all for 3 years).

Alt I don't think there's a chance he'll ever return here for many and varied reasons but I can tell you one thing - and even the WW haters have to admit this because it's not debatable....as you alluded to above - the environment and enthusiasm for LSU basketball would to a full 180, it would be like the Mulkey hire in women's hoops, ticket sales would immediately skyrocket, and NIL funding would soar upward if he were.

So riddle me this Batman?

When it was revealed that Wade had made payments from his wife's checking account. The argument from Wade fans was that he was only doing this to get players because LSU had no boosters or ppl that would contribute to the slush fund to buy players. So if these ppl didn't exist when the team was winning under Wade and they obviously are not there now. Where are these Wade supporters / money men and why would they suddenly appear when they didn't exist when he was here previously

Explain this?

.

The excuse was he was paying players because LSU boosters wouldn't support basketball. So if he was getting support before, why would they support him now?

Sounds like ignorant people talking to ignorant people. Wade wasn’t paying any players and none of the violations occurred while he was at LSU so your little narrative is complete BS.

Wade get screwed by mainly not even the powers at be but by media, a select few coaches in the Power 4, and then when the HBO documentary came out

All that may be true but at the end of the day Woodward wanted him gone and was far too weak to stand up to the outside noise and bias.

What Woodward did to the players on that team was as low a move as I’ve ever seen an AD make.

Being a consistent tournament team while also being a top 5 team in the conference was pretty nice under Wade.

Why are you describing college coaches again? If you aren’t cheating and you aren’t telling players and donors what they wanna hear, you ain’t winning anything.

If he can get support at McNeese....and he has.. he can get it here.

I don't know the details on the specific case where he was using his wife's account, others can fill you in on that, but that was a specific thing - if you think he was having trouble getting the basketball boosters to help him, I can tell you for a fact from personal knowledge that was not a problem....is now apparently.

I guess you didn't read the first sentence in my post on this? I agree, he's not coming back. This is a hypothetical and I think even those here disagreeing with this hypothetical even know they are wrong.
