Because when he jumps in water he doesn't get wet. The water gets Trent Richardson.
Because he is The Most Interesting Man Alive?
Because he is so rough that he wears his clothes out from the inside...Just to add to the bogus theme.

If the best player on the field goes down, Bama is
Bama is nothing without Richardson, and even worse off should McCarron go down. Not wishing for this, just saying. LSU's depth will prevail. Book it.

say he has 29 attempts 115 yards.. 1 TD..
i could see this
If we hold him to that little yards on that many attempts i think LSU is in good shape

Trent Richardson won't get anywhere close to 100 yards tomorrow unless they run him 25+ times.
predict his total then

yeah.......you're an idiot. We may very well shut him down but the dude is a great back

They sat him vs UTk.
He could have had 100 easy.
We shall see.
I am hoping Chavis sets a safety to watch him, because his biggest opportunities will come in short passes, not runs up the middle. He is going to get hit up the middle. If he is in the open field, he is a load to deal with.

125 yards per game, which, I'm sorry, doesn't back up the hype that's being made about him.
Show me the last LSU RB that averaged 125 ypg 8 games into the season.

the kid ran for a whopping 77 yards last week against a crappy Tennessee run defense.
UT stacked the box and Bama tried to batter them anyway in the first half because the coaches weren't afraid of losing. Bama's line played uninspired. Bama came out throwing in the second half to get a lead.
Ware got 80 yards on 23 carries which is 3.5 ypc against that same UT defense.
Richardson got 77 yards on 17 carries which is 4.5 ypc.
It wasn't his best game, obviously, but to say he's nothing special is just ignorant.

That prediction about his stats are about right. I believe he will be worked like a mule this game. Although, you did say 1 touchdown. It will take at least two touchdowns from TR for Bama to pull a victory. I just have a good feeling about LSU being able to put up at least 14 point.

Richardson is a top 5 pick. The key to winning the game is stopping/containing him.

Per your request, my best guess would be that TR gets right around 25 carries tomorrow for 225 yards.
I kid!
They're gonna have to work him like a plantation donkey in a cotton field now that Lacy from all reports can't even so much as walk without a limp. Fowler's there, and he's very good, but asking him to replace Lacy's production in a game like this is like asking Richardson to carry all the production for a team with a young untested QB and a mediocre WR core after Maze.
Richardson gets 20-25 carries tomorrow (depending on the score, see below). He'll break 100, but only because he busted one. He gets stuffed most of the time without much of any another threat available. He won't break 150, and he won't average over 5 ypc.
And if LSU is up a TD or more at any point in the 2nd half, take it to the bank that Saban will more or less abandon the run. He's notorious for this. Which is what happens when you're not used to being down in the 2nd half.

I've read two posts by you and so far I'm having difficulty believing you've watched much football.

He is the closest thing to Cecil Collins I've seen. As a running back, that is, and he deserves the hype.

I'll take team depth over 1 player any day of the week, 365, for life.

Look, I'm not predicting the outcome of the game, or saying that LSU isn't as good or even better than Bama. But, I keep seeing false statements thrown out there like they're fact.
Do you realize that Bama's top 3 RB's have more yards and yards per carry than LSU's top 3 RB's?
