Gone are the days of "pull for the conference" if your team is out of contention. Too much parity and competition for recruits across the conference nowadays. I hope Vanderbilt, and the other three teams from the conference, come up short in Omaha.

This! It is beyond me why people still do the whole conference allegiance thing. They are LSU’s main competitors in recruiting, why would you want them to go flashing more rings and say they have closed the gap with LSU (I mean, in reality they have already closed the canyon that was the gap). But you still want to be able to point to the fact that Corbin wastes talent like no other in producing championships. That argument loses steam if he is adding rings to his first.

And we sure as hell need to be pulling for Miss St to go 2 and que.
