Verne absolutely sucks, but I mean it's not totally his fault..he's just too damn old. It's CBS's fault for keeping him around when he probably can't even remember Gary's name half the time.
However, Gary is outstanding. I'm sure every fanbase probably thinks Gary hates them, but whatever. He is absolutely fantastic at breaking down the game, giving insight, disecting the Xs and Os, etc. I love listening to his analysis of the game. I don't think there's anyone better in the business than Gary.

The one I'll never forget from Verne is when he literally screamed, "OH NO!" on national TV about the Reid interception on the goal line in Tuscaloosa. That shite was ridiculous. Add the pure disappointment in his voice when he says, "Touchdown, Louisiana State University," and he just in general gets on my nerves.
Danielson knows his shite though. He might play the homer card sometimes, but at least he does it with some knowledge of the game.

I think they're both awesome. Verne's voice tells me Fall is upon us, and Gary is one of the best analysts in the business.
