The guy that sticks out to me is DUKE RILEY.

It always seems to be that a player who is NOT a starter, but continues to find himself around the ball or making tackles on Special Teams ends up making an impact and becoming a starter in the following years....

He and Jamal Adams led in Special Teams tackles last season.... Both always around the ball. Of course, it seems to be clear that Adams is the next big thing on Defense, but I see Duke being a guy that no one is talking about that we won't be able to ignore by the end of the season.

Who you got?

Signed,

Duke Riley's biased uncle. lol. Not really, but I do realize that's what this post reads like. lol.

It had better be Moore, our fullback. We need someone to crack some skulls for Fournette.

Dwayne Thomas... through four games had 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks and a pick. It'll be interesting to see how he rebounds from the knee injury last year and the time he missed this offseason.

But he's WAY under the radar when you consider the likes of Jamal Adams, Tre White, Kendell Beckwith, and Davon Godchaux.

It would change everything if Neal would completely wreak havoc off the edge.

Duke is a good call. I might add Rickey Jefferson but I don't know if he qualifies as under the radar. He's a hell of an athlete and seems to have that knack for coming up with a big play. My favorite alignment is when we put him at the 1-high and slide Mills down to nickel.

For special teams, my guy to watch this year is gonna be Corey Thompson. He brings the lumber.

William Clapp. He is an upgrade over Porter.

Where is he on the depth chart? You think him or toliver play that nickel spot? Or him over paris? Over Rickey jefferson? Over john battle?

Hawkins. He's quiet and unassuming but look for him to dominate his man play in and play out this season.

Clapp and Duke.

They say Clapp plays pissed off like dad and Duke is a tackling machine, he had 143 solo tackles against Evangel in the title game!!!

He doesn't get his suits off the rack at Penney's. That's one big dude.
