We play in just about the biggest park in the league. I don’t think it’s one of the easiest to hit a bomb until the we get to hot summer type weather.

Probably whoever refuses to start Hess?

Where is the link to Alex Box not being hr friendly?
Predominant wind is toward LC. Florida is probably the only SEC team with better weather. The dimensions aren’t deep when it’s 365 from the alleys to 330 to each line. We are 10th in the sec in hr’s right now with a good offensive team yet you are suggesting it’s not the type of players we have playing it’s the ballpark holding us back from hitting hr’s?

You didn't ask for that. You asked for how the math works. So I gave you an explanation on park factors, because that's what I was telling you doesn't support your assertion.
As for any links to lsu specific research, I'm not going to link my excel spreadsheets that take the park factor concepts and apply them to SEC baseball.

Stop putting words in my mouth. You said we play in a hitter friendly park. I disputed that. I made no other claims.

Do you really have to keep calling people names to have a conversation? Did he win a national championship in 2017? I must’ve missed that, when was his last national title? Oh yea 2009 when the roster still had another coaches players on it and the bats were still hot. What has he done in the modern format? LSU is the top program in college baseball, it’s Duke in basketball, it’s Alabama in football the only difference is those programs have coaches who win championships and ours doesn’t. And don’t tell me baseball is just harder to win titles consistently because that’s bullshite. Basketball is the hardest format not baseball yet coach K has multiple titles since CPMs last and only one. Make all the excuses you want but CPM has had at least 2/3 title teams that were unquestionably head and shoulders above the field and by his own incredibly bad mistakes cost those teams and came up short. My god you people are warped in the head.

It’s hard to find the info. Just from what I found so far A&M and Mizzou are bigger and OM is the same size. I think Ark is deeper in the alleys. But we definitely have the warmest weather except for UF

Ben Mcdonald always mentions AB being a hitter friendly park. TBH you are the only person I’ve ever heard say AB isn’t hitter friendly.

Okay? Does that mean I did the math wrong or something, I don't know why I should care about that.

Wait you never answered your previous asinine statement. Who with a better resume than PM has been fired?
He doesn’t have to to still have a phenomenal year coaching. That team was not championship quality yet he brought them there. He overachieved big time with that team yet you give him no credit for that.
The 90’s left along time ago and since the game has changed dramatically in the sense that no team can dominate anymore. You fail to understand the parity in baseball. A 4 seed winning the NC should tell you that but for some reason it doesn’t register. What current coach has more championship appearances and titles than PM?
People that lie without even knowing it are sociopaths just fyi
He has 5 in 40 years. You would have drove a stake through his heart 15 years ago if he was here.
Another sociopathic statement

Didn’t you know, Ben McDonald doesn’t know shite about baseball compared to our sunshine pumpers. Neither does any baseball expert, coach or scout, our pumpers know all or at least that’s what the Rant says.

Lol thanks for clearing that up for me. I actually thought you were able to have an honest conversation but now I know you’re nothing but a retard and I can quit wasting my time.

I said wedont hit hr’s bc of the type of players PM recruits then you say AB is not a hitterfriendlg Park...something I’ve never heard anyone say before. It’s always been known as a hitter friendly park until you mentioned some crap about math. If one of the variables in that math isn’t hr per game it’s crap...and if you don’t think not having power hitters doesn’t affect the hr per game numbers idk what to tell you.
Posted on 4/27/19 at 10:14 pm to Madking
I guess the box got bigger since being moved a half mile further south with the exact same dimensions ??

They don’t need to observe arbitrary things like facts and reality, they can just call you a dirty word and to them that proves their point lol.

It is close to average as far as parks go.
What i find more ridiculous is why you are trying to measure lsus success by the amount of homeruns theyve hit. That is not a metric that is consistent with college world series teams in college baseball.

It's weird that you could be wrong about how a conversation in this thread happened, but here we are.
